Only just returned to GN after a severe bout of the lurgy and am shocked and very sad to read of your loss Galen.

Words always seem so inadequate but my thoughts and commiserations are with you and your family. So sad. RIP Lucy.

I`m so very sorry Galen, may Lucy rest in peace.

Knowing that Lucy’s troubled life is over and she is at peace now does not however lessen your own grief and loss Galen and indeed that of her sister. There is nothing anyone can say or do to mitigate your grief, but be assured we are all thinking of you and are deeply saddened by the suffering you are going through and by your loss.

It wasn’t cancer, in fact there is some doubt as to whether she had cancer at all. She fell down concrete stairs, rang the ambulance but was unconscious when it arrived. They tried to resuscitate her at the hospital but failed. Venetia and I gave permission to discontinue ventolation.
