Gq I am fascinated by the photography sphere! Is it the same as a fish eye lens? I was trying to take ‘candid’ photos of small boys and guinea pigs yesterday and they were hopeless. It doesn’t help if the guinea is the same colour as the small boy’s sweater, mind!
Ann we had two cats spayed and one neutered (why does that still send shivers through me?). Molly will be sore for a bit, but she will be over it in no time, and it will be one less worry for you if it keeps the bully boy away (unless it’s not that that is on his mind!).
N&G I would send you my list, but it would be exactly the same as the boys’, so I will just say “double up on everything and I’ll be down next week to claim my share!”?

We have started up our weekly swimming regime again. DH needs to strengthen his ailing back muscles and I cannot get into any of my good trousers
so need to shed some weight. I’m hoping exercise and a watercress diet will do the trick ?. When we came out to the car park, DH said “I’m just going to nip into the village.” Now, this is Mr Duster speak for “I am going to the bakery where I will buy custard slices and other sticky goodies that my wife says I should not be eating!” Sure enough....... but he is learning; he didn’t bring me anything! One of us has to be good!

I had a day to myself today so took myself off to experiment with my Christmas present from dd2 - a glass photography sphere. It’s amazing how much a familiar view changes when it’s viewed with a new perspective. Hmm, maybe theres a “life lesson” there!

I have gifts to wrap. I shall therefore say goodnight, and will do my best to return tomorrow after the care home visit. 
ann Molly will recover quickly from her op. We had three feral she cats spayed. They were returned after staying a few days with a kindly volunteer of the Cats Protection League. They were returned to our back garden, the cages placed against the fence leading into the forest, and they dashed through "their" opening and disappeared into the forest. Rory, on the other hand, was a right pain in the butt. That's some chaps for you.
Bully cats can be a nightmare. They are always bigger and bolshier than the cat they "pick on".

Charleyg I am trusting that you are recouperating. That lot in the ward for not-so-sickly chaps are bound to be up to no good. It seems far too quiet for my liking.
Good morning to our amazing Granspals. I am in awe of the positive attitude that oozes from every pore. Well done, you lot, we are here for each other...through celebratory times and the testing times that can knock the wind from our sails. So to speak!

Good morning the kitchen! Such a lot going on in here that I know I will never manage to catch up! (((hugs))) and 
to all those who are needing them to help cope with all your happenings! X Isn't it amazing how we all manage to work our way through everything and how, providentially, help comes at just the right time - thank God!
We had a blank calendar this time last week (as we do at present for this week ) but we have had so much happening. We have had so many visitors and we have all talked our heads off! We had a phone call from the hospital as they had a cancellation so we were able to get the vascular scan done and now there is just the MRI to be done before Himself's pre op assessment. Since the xrays it has now been classed as urgent which I had thought it already was but clearly the penny has dropped somewhere. 
So grateful to be given the cancellation anyway and the ladies in the vascular laboratory were very nice, interestingly they are scientists and are not 'medical' staff. Amazing machines and extraordinary noises, Himself got the giggles at the weird noises his body seemed to be producing and it was so good to hear him laugh. I think the op has to be carried out within a 3 week time frame of the pre-assessment so I am praying that it will be soon, the waiting is almost the worst part isn't it!
DD is coming for her half term and DS phoned to say he will be coming across at the beginning of next month so we are thrilled at that and I really hope that DS will be here around the time of Himself's op as that would be such a blessing. They are both so kind and caring and we are both really looking forward to them being with us, joy days indeed!
We were invited out for lunch and tea yesterday and had a really enjoyable day - much to Smokey's disgust. He had to have triple play time to make up for being left on his own for such a long time. He was jumping so high he could be an Olympian!
The sunshine on the red stems of the bushes and trees this morning is quite spectacular, just wish I could get out to photograph it to show you. Your photographs are all so lovely - thank you one and all!
soop I can't get over how much ironing you do! I have some ironing to do today so am planning to watch a film so I won't know I am doing it!
Must get cracking or my lovely cleaning lady will be here before I have got going at all today and that will not do at all.
