I bought a new large Balenciaga silk scarf on eBay for £18 but have never worn it. It's a peacock pattern in russet and cream tones. I'm putting it on eBay as I've no idea why I bought it as I'm not a scarf wearer.

I have just got back in to walking/hiking so would definitely invest in some walking equipment - a lovely Paramo Jacket is on my wishlist!

My last restyle colour and blow out was £125 in a good local independent salon.

At a really good hairdresser - a restyle, colour and treatment would be a wonderful treat.

I'd have a flying lesson . I bought one for a friend a few years ago and they loved it. It lasts about 40 minutes, they do some explaining and you get to fly the plane for a little while in the air.

I am not interested in perfume and various creams. I love reading but there is not point (to me) in keeping a book once read, just more clutter, and as my place is on the market and I am going somewhere smaller I have arranged for somebody from the BHF to collect a lot of my books for their shop. I'm a bit of a sad case as I am just not interested in clothes or shoes or anything normal... But I would spend the £100 on a nice party for my son and grandchildren at the local posh hotel. They always prefer a simple place, such as a pub. But it would be my treat as the meals at the posh hotel are fabulous and you get proper napkins and nice silver cutlery, and the service is impeccable.

Crafting materials! Probably inks, embossing powders, and colour-shift paints.

Boots and books for me .....not necessarily in that order!

I bought a super pair of Hotter boots in their sale , I would spend the £100 on another pair but in a different colour .

I would buy myself a pair of Apple earpods, but would need to add a bit more cash.

I actually have a £100 coming to me in mid Feb and I am already thinking what shall I do with it. I am also thinking along the lines of a DNA test to see who my ancestors were.

I was given a £50 thank you from work and I just can’t decide. I wanted a big clock for our bungalow but before I could get to the shops a really gorgeous one was advertised on our local Facebook page for £10. So I’m stuck again

Books for me. I always have a long list of books to read.

But library books have to be returned! It is an ephemeral experience that can only be repeated by borrowing it again. A book in the house, is always with you and can be returned to again and again.

Yesterday, in Oxfam, I bought a copy of the verse of Ogden Nash. I spent the evening dipping in and out of it, in a few days it will find a place on a bookshelf and whenever I feel like it, and I will, I can dip into it and enjoy his witty verse whenever I like.
