Pensions and Universal Credit.

I don't understand either as I'm a widow. Never did understand the system anyway.

I thought Amber Rudd was on TV saying austerity is coming to an end. Just read article and think it is very sneaky to release this on eve of Brexit vote. It seems to be saying people already getting Pension Credit won't be affected but new claimants will. If one person is not retired then they will be required to support their partner. That is the same as with younger people. Actually I wonder why it was ever different with people over 65 anyway if one partner under pension age would surely share with their partner. It sounds like an anomaly being made fair with younger couples.
