Running slow?

It's dreadful !!, any hope of sorting it ?

I am assuming Gransnet shares a server with something that is getting lots of traffic and we are suffering as a result. It would be lovely for HQ to respond though.

I thought it was my broadband!

Thank Goodness it isn't just me having trouble with Gransnet. I too thought that it was my computer until I opened other posts etc and found that the problem is with Gransnet alone. Even checking out other pages on the same post takes forever.
Please HQ , let us all know what is going on.?.

It is getting slower and slower, I am giving up today will try again tomorrow.

Its now worse than yesterday. Maybe they've all got the lurgie and have abandoned ship...

Mine is still dismally slow.

It's getting worser and worser!! Hope it's running properly tomorrow or I might have to do some housework!

It may be that it is made worse by more posts ( =more traffic) so Gransnet are not using the site to update us so as not to add a bit more to it. Perhaps they can't even get at their end of it to post anything? In their place I think I'd just close the site down completely until it is sorted.

Phew what a relief - thought my lap top was to blame!

Perhaps if we all log off and refuse to log back in again until they've fixed it ??

What about Mumsnet? Is that on a go-slow as well?
I'm thinking of perusing that site (I won't use the word lurking)

Seems to have speeded up now must have been that magic word x

Normal service has now resumed here, I will not celebrate too soon.

Someone has obviously stoked the boiler - things appear to be back to normal.

I gave up earlier but it’s better now, maybe they fed the hamster a decent meal
