Well that's the knee op done.
Now my rehab begins, first estimate 3 weeks I hope so.
Can I say a heartfelt thank you for somany good wishes, they really cheered me up.
I Was asked yesterday if I wanted to stay here in hospital or move to a special rehab one. I decide to stay here as it is close to home.
No I am not bedblocking not a problem here Belguim in case anyone forgets.
Sorry about the typing I bought a Tablet and still getting the hang of it.
Sunday afternoon and I have asked to use the knee flex machine for a while.

Oh gosh you're brave. As is anyone who has surgery of one sort or another. I say this because in all my 78 and a bit years I've never had surgery and all being well will avoid it if humanely possible.
I can't begin to imagine the pain of knees and hips when they don't function normally.
I wish you a speedy and pain-free recovery. x

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. One piece of advice for rehab - more is not necessarily better. Just do what your PT recommends, not extra. You can actually make the appliance loose that way. The good news is that most people do very well with knee replacements.

Agnurse I had the other one done 7 years ago, so just enjoying the rest and doing what's needed. Nice to have all my meals cooked for me.
