Banks - Love 'em or hate 'em?

Fortunately this is a good news story about an Aussie bank. Not often can one be told these days!
Back in Dec. one of our grand daughters , Tashie 18 from Brisbane stayed with a family member in London prior to moving across to spend 5 weeks with a German host family, for Christmas. She'd only been in London 5 days when her card was skimmed, emptied of $3,000; devastated! Fortunately she was amongst our family to soften the blow and now we hear the Aussie bank has honoured it's T&Cs and fully restored her funds. No idea yet how it happened.
The German family have now taken Tash with them to Austria for their Winter 4 week holiday. Bit of a contrast to Brisbane!
But very sad about that Sydney boy dying in an avalanche, also in Austria. Their weather must be terrible.
