Wonderful news Anyard, sending positive vibes your way
Hi Hymnbook there is a Forum headed 'Meet Up's', if you post on there you would hopefully have some responses. I am in the Black Country unfortunately.
Afternoon everyone. Lovely sunny day here in Huthwaite Nottingham. Is there anyone on here in my area who would like to meet up sometime. Does a
Nottinghamshire group exist.
Congratulations Any wonderful news. So pleased for you all.
Hello everyone
This is my first post but had to share this with you. Our daughter, aged 46, has just had a scan and 10 weeks pregnant- third attempt with IVF. They are absolutely delighted, as are we, but I’m anxious not to over celebrate as it’s still very early in the pregnancy!! Just had to tell someone as I can’t tell the wider family yet.
Prayers/positive vibes are very welcome and thanks in anticipation x
Good morning All x
Bit the bullet and took the tree etc down first thing before switching on TV and internet.
I've only been sitting down in the last 1/4 hour as I ate my crumpets----------looking at the dust.
Patio door open as it's still dry and mild, watched a gaggle of geese flying over to wherever, a different direction to those last September, all " talking to each other " a lovely sound.
Hope all is well with everyone and that you've all recovered from the various festivities.
Good morning from Devon, grey & dry here, not sure how cold it is as I only opened the door at 7 am to retrieve my papers (left in a plastic box on the doorstop). Only going to venture outside to put re-cycling out later. Staying warm & enjoying the Sunday papers
Good morning fine fair and chilly in ne. All well getting over Christmas indulgence and back to work. Never mind I have my 59th birthday to look forward to end of month.
Morning everyone! Grey but dry in Northampton.
DS may come down today to put Christmas decorations up in the loft, apart from that no plans but to watch my rugby team on tv this afternoon.
Managed to change the earrings yesterday that DCs and families bought me for Christmas. The shop agreed that the clasp was faulty and luckily had another pair in stock.
What a strange film 'The Favourite' was; never seen anything quite like it before, but I enjoyed it.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Good morning from a brightish Aberdeenshire. Having a long lie in this morning, lovely!
Going to a big screen showing of Andre Rieu concert this afternoon, with friends so looking forward to some lovely music.
Enjoy your lunch Kitty...it sounds great fun.
Good morning from a rather dull North Shropshire.Decorations down today and big clean?Have a good day everyone and hope all who are under the weather feel better soon.
Angie be kind to yourself today and rest up with book magazines or I pad. Just eat whatever is in the cupboards! Hope you feel better soon
Good morning everyone from Wickford, Essex. Well it started very grey but I can see a glimmer of sunshine peeking through.....roll on spring and longer daylight hours. Have a good day everyone, I'm off for a walk round the garden centre.
Good morning one and all, up early today and despite it being cold and grey we are going over to Wales to go for a cycle ride. We will wrap up warm and have plenty of stops to fill up with hot drinks. NannyJen hope your other half gets well soon
Good morning, cool but dry here in the NE.
Haven't heard from family as to whether we will see them today, if they just turn up it will not be a gourmet meal.
Sore joints today so limited activity.
Good Morning from a dull but fairly mild Black Country.
Not long up as we didn't get to bed till gone 1.00am! Went out for a Curry in Knowle to celebrate Partners brothers 65th and retirement. Driving home on M42 poor Partner was not well at all.....just managed to get home! He is now in bed feeling very unwell. Not sure if it the meal or just a bug. Didn't even want a cup of tea this morning, just a glass of water.
So not sure of plans to day, will play it by ear. I may go to the gym, as I have not been since before Christmas. New year new start!
Enjoy your birthday meal kitty, it is lovely when family get together. There were 11 of us having lunch on Thursday for Mums 89th.
Wishing everyone a good day, and all .
No Church this Morning , our Priest has decided to have Mass in the small chapel 3 miles away ,on the first Sunday of the month . I usually walk up to the village Church , I tried for a lift but no one was available , I do miss it , but what can I do , the man is trying to do the work of three
Good morning, rather like this thread! Grey here in Warrington too but dry!
Sadly like others I am not too well. Luckily took my decorations down and cleaned the house on 30th.
My birthday next week on Thursday.
Have a nice Sunday everyone
Good morning Anniebach, Micheal and everyone from a dry and mild Birmingham, where the clouds are beginning to part. I’ve just had breakfast (in bed) and am contemplating getting up- I love my lie-ins at my partner’s at the weekend! My plans today include a trip to the Barber Institute for an art fix. I’m hoping they still have some calendars left too.
Micheal, are you going out for your curry lunch, or making it yourself?
I hope everyone has a good day!
Good morning Auntyflo and all x
