I have never.....!

Hi there, Just to say my first fiancé had a beard so I have kissed a man with a beard and it was nice.
Also, when we used to host foreign students one little Russian boy was taken fishing by the school and returned with a fish which he asked us to cook. Never having gutted a fish before we looked up how to do it on YouTube and followed the instructions there. The fish was successfully cooked and eaten, and Sergey was thrilled.
If you can't so something look it up. Since hubby died I have used YouTube to rewire a plug, learned how to PROPERLY tie a tie, etc.

I haven't been up the Shard in London
Not been to a football match.
Not been to a music festival.

Never dropped litter - even so much as a sweet wrapper or lollipop stick.
Never taken drugs - too scared.
Never been in the loft when we had a house - I don’t like heights.
Never had a tattoo, ridden a horse or a bike.

MissAdventure Never used straighteners myself as my hair is poker straight. However my hairdresser does use them on my hair, beyond me to figure out why.

Apart from over the counter fish & chips, I've never had a takeaway and, as for having one delivered, wouldn't know where to start. Probably much too mean anyway!

I have never bungee jumped, abseiled a rock face or been on one of those terrifying, gravity defying rides at a fairground.

I have so many 'nevers', but a lot of 'have-dones' too. My one main regret is never conquering my fear of water, after being pushed in the diving=pool, as a child. Two courses of lessons couldn't break my panicky feelings. I have abseiled down cliffs, though!

One I forgot, watched “Game of thrones”

I have never ridden a horse or skied - these used to be for rich kids, didn't they?

Also I have never taken illegal drugs, probably because they have never been offered to me.

My never always seem to be around food. I have never eaten a burger, pasta or pizza. I have never had egg and tomato on the same plate and Ican never had baked beans on a fork unless there is something else too.

Never had a real romance,married too young.never had success at work,travelled alone,learned to dance. Never had a dog,belonged to a women's club,watched rugby,had a tidy house. Never been skiing, diving or mountain climbing. Probably never will now. Did I miss out?

The two things I have never done is drink a cup of tea, just the smell makes me feel sick and been in the loft. In fact I think my husband has a secret life in the loft he is always up there. The rest I have at least tried including riding a horse, it scared me stiff and after six lessons gave up.

I have never backed a caravan or trailer. Have enough trouble with my little car as several unfortunate letterboxes can attest. But I found someone who is really, really terrific at backing, so all is well.

I've never been bungy jumping. I did consider it (When it was first a craze) but as the crane was situated in a pub car park I thought better of it! I couldn't do it now...

I'm self reliant. I can undertake most diy tasks. I have laid bricks in the past, but not for a living. I couldn't get to grips with plastering (but managed to get plastered often ??)

Chewbacca, I’m not keen on the chocolate fountain but can recommend a cheese fondue. My mother in law was Swiss so we had them regularly. They’re very sociable. I’ve got a Le Creuset fondue set that still gets an airing, especially in winter.

I have always been slightly ashamed of my fear of the loft so I'm really glad that others are the sane. But why?

I've never opened a bottle of Champagne and to keep up the tradition I now always ask someone else to do it.

Living alone for 30 years there are very few things I haven't tackled. From plumbing, electrics, decorating, tiling, gardening, car maintenance, re-roofing the shed etc. But I've never been on skis, been waxed, or met my soulmate.
