And they are both rather unpleasant!

Are there 2?

Bathsheba Sun 30-Dec-18 19:01:41

Haha Bella, very apposite!

Chewbacca Sat 29-Dec-18 23:50:30

Hey up Bella! grin

Bellanonna Sat 29-Dec-18 23:40:37

? hello Chewy

Vickixx Sat 29-Dec-18 23:40:07

Night night all & I do I hear you saying thank God ?
but remember the saying until you have walked a mile in their shoes. The rest is self explanatory. ❤️

Chewbacca Sat 29-Dec-18 23:25:27

Very cryptic Bella grin

Give me strength!

Sometimes it takes me a while to realise it’s a Nordic mythology scenario.

I understand that Granny gravy. I don’t often shed tears but on a positive note I’ve found my eyes quietly streaming off & on tonight & believe it or not I actually think it’s a good thing.

I am also a relatively new poster vickixxx, not sure why you singled out my post????

Love gransnet have made “actual friends” not just virtual friendships. It is because it means so much that it really irks that infiltrators join/ start threads that can be upsetting or intentionally troublesome.

Vickixx Sat 29-Dec-18 22:47:41

Thanks Phoenix that’s comforting but considering I’ve been ordered by the doctor to rest today ( not easy for me) at least I’ve managed with the help of the forum so it’s not all bad & I appreciate it.

phoenix Sat 29-Dec-18 22:39:46

No, Vickixx you are not in the mix, as least as not as far as I'm concerned.

This thread is not about you, sorry.

Vickixx Sat 29-Dec-18 22:10:55

Granny gravy I’m a new poster here & it doesn’t take long to recognise I might be in the mix here. If I am, please read my posts on all the threads and you will find I for one am a genuine person, a healthcare professional, still working & happy in life, with a brilliant husband & family & a close network of friends & many more aquaintences.I’ve had my troubles in life but they have only added to who I am as a person now and what’s more I’m proud to be a sepsis survivor. Please accept this post is only relevant if as a new poster I am in this mix of suspicion.

GrannyGravy13 Sat 29-Dec-18 21:58:03

I actually feel sorry for them, they must be sad and lonely people.

Are there two or do you think they may be the same person? Their styles are very similar (if I'm thinking of the same two people of course ?)

Grannybags Sat 29-Dec-18 21:53:25

grin

Chewbacca Sat 29-Dec-18 21:52:45

I won't mention foggy Pennines again either Grannybags! grin

Grannybags Sat 29-Dec-18 21:46:53

It is difficult to ignore them sometimes. I've just noticed I've been deleted from two threads just for mentioning the weather!

phoenix Sat 29-Dec-18 19:30:19

Chewbacca when one of them got stuck in on my "Prize for the most stupid question" thread, I did suggest that the thread was just left to die.

Generally, I would advocate just ignoring them, but sometimes it's so hard!

Chewbacca Sat 29-Dec-18 19:24:54

The smirk I can cope with Phoenix; it's what other "pleasure" they're obtaining from it that makes me boak.

phoenix Sat 29-Dec-18 19:16:44

Not accusing anyone of being an under bridge dweller, just unpleasant in their attitudes (and) posts to others.

I often kind of think in "pictures" and for some reason I imagine these people with a sort of "smirk" on their face!I

As far as I'm aware, this is a non smirking area! (Think accent)

Anniebach Sat 29-Dec-18 19:07:09

Surely not Chewbacca ?

Chewbacca Sat 29-Dec-18 19:01:08

I got put on the naughty step for sighing, shaking my head and leaving the room on one of the threads. blush Wish I'd said something more worthy of the naughty step now.

Vickixx Sat 29-Dec-18 18:55:41

I’m in my 50s with one grandchild but not sure what that’s got to do with it ?
