Swelling of the feet/ankles needs looking into from my own personal point of view.

Winterwhite yes, warfarin is by prescription only and is prescribed to those who are prone to blood clots in veins and arteries. It's an anticoagulant and is given to those who develop DVT's after flying.

This is new to me. Does it do long term good, or does the swelling return when you stop using it? I'm left with a swollen foot (top of foot, but not toes) after knee surgery in October, 2nd time in 3 yrs on same knee. Am not diabetic; swelling goes down overnight, bounces back when pressed. Drs say Never mind, it will go - or not. But v uncomfortable and footwear-limiting. This might be worth a try.
In what form do we take warfarin? Prescription only no doubt.

Well I am very sceptical of this thing but a friend who is a retired doctor so sceptical about everything has been using one and he thinks its fabulous. He had purple swollen feet and legs and now he doesn't. Uses it everyday and swears by it. I'm still not buying one though a few goes round the golf course does me when the day comes that I cant I shall reconsider.

Warfarin for poor/bad circulation.

My DH bought one for himself about 2 years ago when his feet were very painful and it was hard for him to walk. He loves it and uses it every evening. He can certainly walk more easily now and has no pain, so I'd say it has been a good success for him.

I bought one of these for my MIL around two years ago as she was complaining of having no strength in her legs and having difficulty walking any distance.She uses it every day and to be honest I dont think theres been much improvement .She did manage to walk about a mile yesterday round the shops ...Ikea is great for her indoors ,warm and it takes a while to get round.
I think she's had better results from taking Vitamin D adn B12 supplements than this m/c
