They are not happy bunnies are they?

merlotgran Thu 27-Dec-18 19:44:12

William does look to be in an almighty sulk though.

He doesn't fool us grans. We've all seen that look at Christmas on a family member who deserves a kick in the shins but gets an extra mince pie instead to keep the peace.

I agree Kate look strained.

EllanVannin, I think originally the mother WAS going, and originally Kate and William WERE going to stay with the Middletons. And Harry WASN'T going to shoot. But I think someone in the royal firm was so determined to prove the rumours of a rift wrong, that they completely overruled all the plans, and then Doria didn't fit in any more. The thing is, it was a total waste since the body language just wasn't convincing. Also it simply isn't important to force Meghan and Kate to get on. a) it's not relevant to the monarchy or the constitution, and b) who cares if they like each other? It only affects them, no one else.

I doubt she will move in with them but will probably have her own suite of rooms for whenever she visits. I think the Middletons have something like that at KP.

Anniebach Thu 27-Dec-18 19:14:52

Perhaps she will move in when they leave KP

EllanVannin Thu 27-Dec-18 18:43:58

Meghan's mother turned the Queen's personal Christmas invitation down too. I wonder what that was about because the mother, once upon a time, was ready to move in with Harry and Meghan ?

Anniebach Thu 27-Dec-18 18:29:44

Several members of her staff have left

Jane10 Thu 27-Dec-18 18:09:08

I thought Kate objected to the way Meghan spoke to staff. I could believe that.
Alice Tinkers wedding dress simply couldn't be improved on!

Anniebach Thu 27-Dec-18 18:05:19

Lisagran Thu 27-Dec-18 17:55:20

A Royal wedding with a Peppa Pig bridesmaid would have been cool grin

No one puts Peppa in a corner!

ReadyMeals Thu 27-Dec-18 17:36:21

Lol!! :D

oldbatty Thu 27-Dec-18 17:36:18

I reckon Char licked off and demanded a Peppa Pig costume instead of some frock.

Kate said " OK then cool" and Megs saw her **.

Wills waded in and said " either the pig stays or we are pulling out of the whole thing"

Anniebach Thu 27-Dec-18 17:35:00

?, this is what I think is going on. Megan upset Kate about little Charlotte’s dress fitting. Kate told William, William told Harry Megan should remember Charlotte is only three . Harry threw a wobbly stating ‘ what Megan wants Megan gets’ and William said not when I am PofWales sunshine

ReadyMeals Thu 27-Dec-18 17:25:10

Ok this is what I think is going on. Meghan and Kate had a minor row about the bridesmaid dress, which Kate and Meghan could have got over, except that William had a go at Harry over it, and Harry probably yelled at him. William went into sulk mode and stayed there. Harry thinks William is being impossible, so there is tension there. Kate and Meghan both pulled up their socks and decided to be grown up about it even though they have little in common and would never have been close buddies in any circumstances. William who will NOT be told what he should be doing, by ANYONE, and never has, continues his sulk.

I won some money once by betting on one of HM's horses - I saw the horse in the parade ring and put my last £2 of betting money on it each way.
It came in first - I think I won £14!

sarahellenwhitney Thu 27-Dec-18 16:14:02

EllanVannin. Quote',because of royalty there has never been a war in this country'.? If you look back in history you will observe the British Isles royals as a blood thirsty lot who liked nothing more than going into battle wielding their swords and removing anyone /anything that stood in their way.

Anniebach Thu 27-Dec-18 15:59:39

Merlot how come I am ‘nit-picking’ ? All I said was she breeds other horses too, you disapprove of me saying this so accuse me of nit-picking.

merlotgran Thu 27-Dec-18 15:49:33

Horses entered by the Queen in any event in any equestrian sport need not necessarily have been bred by her.

I don't get where your nit-picking is going, Annie

Anniebach Thu 27-Dec-18 15:22:49

The queen does not only breed race horses , she enters horses at The Royal Windsor Horse Show
