I have to watch Midnight Mass or it's not Christmas.

Have a lovely day, everyone.

Happy happy Christmas to one and all! Just spent a few minutes catching up with all our out of towners before heading off for a day at DD’s. Have a great day, everyone.?

Woke up feeling a little sad as I will be spending Christmas alone.

Brother in law unexpectedly called in for a long chat and no sooner had he left than my brother telephoned - as he is in Australia I think he had been at the cooking sherry! Wonderful to catch up with him and good news that the cancer has not spread and he is otherwise fit and well.

Feeling so much happier now! Merry Christmas to all GNs especially those spending the day alone.

I have had a very pleasant day albeit on my own. Lovely food and decent wine, just what the doctor ordered.

Had a lovely day and feel so lucky that I am here to see another Christmas after my brush with death in the spring when I nearly didn’t make it.

Thank you. We had a lovely Christmas Eve and Christmas day with younger daughter, her husband and son (precious 14 year old grandson) first ensuring all was well with recently widowed older daughter. We are home now for Boxing Day- ah feet up, not to much food and comfort TV I think. Happy Boxing Day.

Came down this morning (Boxing Day) to discover that after I had gone to bed, DD had emptied the dish washer and tidied up the kitchen so that when I got up this morning everything I expected to need to do had been done.

That was a real Christmas present.

Spent morning at the local hospital where DH had been taken Christmas Eve. He had an emergency op for a twisted intestine in the afternoon. Fortunately he's on the mend now as it was caught in time!
Not the best start to our holiday here. Now got to cancel and reschedule flight home and sort out animal care.
Hope everyone else had a better day.
