HOW fast?

The package I sent to ireland 20 days ago hasn’t arrived yet

Grammaretto I don’t know what part of NZ but my son told me their post is very spasmodic compared to ours they often only have two or three deliveries a week (and he lives outside Auckland not in rural NZ) my daughter in laws birthday present took two and half weeks and that wasn’t in the Christmas rush So don’t give up yet

The parcel I sent at the beginning of December has not arrived in NZ yet
They have had a card but I fear it's been lost.

I love this ‘track your parcel’ thing. It comes in very useful when I get a message to say the parcel has been delivered as the courier with UK Mail can’t be bothered to ring the doorbell. I then know to collect the parcel from the doorstep.

It doesn’t usually take that long to the USA either. I posted 2 parcels on 7th December, one got there on 14th & the other on 22nd I think it was intercepted by customs.

Doesn't take that long for parcel post to Australia.

Well that’s a lot better than one of the parcels I sent to the States, bathsheba.
I posted it in Northumberland on Dec 7th.
I paid for track’n’trace, fortunately as it turned out.
It finally cleared US Customs on 14th December, and passed into the safe keeping of US Postal Services.
Then it went to Wilmington MD.
Then it went to Philadelphia PA.
Then it went Hyattsville MD.
Then it went to Dulles VA (getting warm now)
Finally delivered to DS in Haymarket VA on 22nd December
