I agree that lotteries, like all the other ways of wasting money on games of chance, have got completely out of hand. Many of the people I see buying tickets don’t look as if they can really afford it.
I stopped buying a ticket when a second ‘game’ was launched as I got too confused as to which one to get so bought one of each. So spent twice as much. Now there’s several sorts of lottery, I’d be spending a fortune!
I have premium bonds, that way I have a chance of a win and still have my stake. I get regular £25 wins. Still hoping for that million.
