She is a stupid woman just as Trump is a stupid man. What’s sexist about that?

The lip readers are almost entirely unanimous in agreeing he said stupid woman. That's what it looked like. It isn't the worst thing he could have muttered to himself but, as Labour leader insisting he's not a misogynist, he wants a gentler kind of politics without personal insults, he'd have been better advised to fess up. Yes, I mumbled to myself, no I wouldn't have said it publicly, I'm sorry if I offended anyone but - Mrs May leads this government, the worst government, here's a list of all the terrible things etc etc etc.

One of JC's difficulties is what seems to be an inability to face criticism or challenges. He goes into grumpy old man mode (whoops did I say that out loud)

Bercow is one odious character ! Poison dwarf I call him.

sarahcyn Thu 20-Dec-18 12:51:07

Such a totally stupid distraction and the idiocy of Bercow doesn't help, as ever.

As the comedian Geoff Norcott said on Twitter today:
Corbyn is nearly 70, white, voted Leave and has just made a sexist comment so is he now officially a "gammon"?

Grammaretto Thu 20-Dec-18 12:50:25

Apparently Theresa said her fellow Tories had called her much worse and it hadn't bothered her.
It is all panto but not very funny panto.
Brexiternity and election talk is hiding the real issues affecting real people now.

I wish we could have a really good PM/leadership but I think good people are not choosing to go into politics

EllanVannin Thu 20-Dec-18 12:44:24

He'd never get voted in Anniebach !

God forbid he ever leads this country---you'd see an exodus of the wealthiest business people ( who help keep this country ticking over ) leaving in their droves and we'll be left with the gubbins of society !

Anniebach Thu 20-Dec-18 12:38:27

To be fair “paddyann* if he had called for a motion against the government it could have led to a general election, he doesn’t want this until after Brexit

humptydumpty Thu 20-Dec-18 12:34:39

Well said, paddyann, and I had been a JC supporter...

paddyann Thu 20-Dec-18 12:33:38

SHAME ON Corbyn ,absolutely ,but not for calling her stupid ,she obviously is,Shame on him for abstaining on every single thing the tories pushed through without opposition,Shame on him for calling a motion of no confidence in the PM instead of the a motion against the government.Shame on him for refusing the back up of the rest of the parties to sort out the current mess the tories are hell bent on making of the UK .

A third thread on the subject?
<sigh>

Does lying make the situation better? It is absolutely patently obvious that you said "silly woman" - one does not have to be able to lip read to see that. Nasty piece of work he is
