I’ve just checked in to see if there is any news of Gillybob
Recently I am sure she mentioned that Mr G had been unwell, I am now worried, as are we all. Hope someone will post any news.

Good afternoon all xx

Good luck with the start of your therapy Anniebach xxx

Starting to get dark in SE Essex already, has t exactly brightened up at all today. I am having a lazy one after our trip to London yesterday. Bat out of Hell is one of the oddest things I have ever seen on stage, it took me until,we reached the restaurant for dinner to work out the story!!!! Not my choice, but Mr GG's birthday treat, he liked Meatloaf (the singer) in his younger days.

Hope you are all enjoying Thursday ?????

Too late on here for me to say ‘good morning’ but I was just checking if gillybob had posted yet? This is most unlike her. I did mention her absence on this topic last week.
With a bit of luck she’s won that lottery and has gone off on a much deserved holiday!
Joking apart - I do hope she’s alright.

Good morning, sunny day 17 degrees. Have been for blood test, bought three Presents valued at no more than 5€ token silly presents for Christmas Day.
Back home and will get clothes ready for our carol singing to night when we walk around the village and sing our hearts out.
Then Christmas dinner for us all and guests at local restaurant.
Only hiccup is I have a massive cold sore on my lower lip which looks gross.
Have a great day everyone wherever you live ?

Good morning from sunny Devon, had rain shower this morning but sun is back out, think it's going to play hide & seek all day.

Having a day at home as I've got a parcel delivery. Already been out 3 days this week but all present shopping done & wrapped. Housework day yuk

Good Evening Everyone; Quite a nice day 22C. Had our over 80s Club Christmas "do" and the ladies ( who always do the catering, of course tchsmile) really turned it on! Pavlova, pudding, iced cakes galore, hot savouries!
Thoughts of diets and medications were tossed out the window! Now what shall I have for dinner tonight? Decisions, decisions! tchgrin

Good morning, bins out, logs and kindling for the week in. Red skies and glorious cloud formations for a beautiful start to the day. Well done anniebach for getting started on the process. I wrote a long paragraph last week to you on this thread, but I would reiterate that it is about giving/learning stratregies to help. These have to be practised to become more and more effective. I hope you get off to a good start. I used to feel very tired afterward. Coffee and cake. ?☕️?

Good morning,
It's a brighter morning here than yesterday though the ground still looks damp. Not been outdoors yet, so can't say how cold it is.
All of you with appointments today, either at home or at the surgery/hospital, I hope all goes well for you.
Those of you going out to parties and meet ups, have a lovely time.
I've nothing exciting planned for today, just the usual ironing and chores!
tchsmile

Greyduster Thu 20-Dec-18 08:58:18

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Trying to clear in South Yorkshire going to be cold. Bit of a whirlwind day here for us today, and both of us are struggling under the weight of uncomfortable ailments, but there are those out there with worse to put up with.
Pitt you made me laugh this morning!

Anniebach Thu 20-Dec-18 08:56:37

Good morning from sunny Colchester.
3 year old DGS is a whirlwind this morning and I've already lost at SNAP.

harrigran Thu 20-Dec-18 08:25:56

Good morning, I think it is dry and not too cold.
Off to diabetes prevention session this morning and then an echocardiogram this afternoon.
It is DH's birthday but no rest for him either.
Yesterday was a lost day, too poorly to do anything, think I have established that I can no longer eat Indian food.

Let’s hope it is just that Gilly’s internet is down

oldgaijin Thu 20-Dec-18 08:20:21

Good morning all from a don't know what it's doing outside Aberdeenshire...haven't looked out yet. At least it's not windy and the new roof ridge is securely cemented on.
Flying South today so shall temporarily become a Buckinghamshire gransnetter. Suitcase is packed and doesn't weigh too much...it does have the Christmas cake in it!
Gillybob, where are you? Have a peaceful day everyone.

Gagagran Thu 20-Dec-18 08:15:34

Good Morning everyone from a damp, mild south coast.

Just back from a much busier than usual supermarket trip. That's the last one before Christmas. The aisles were clogged up with online-shopper trollies pushed by students who seem to enjoy stopping for a chat with their mates! Why can't the online orders by filled in the back storeroom away from personal shoppers? Grrr! (Feeling grinchy - can you tell?)

The road works outside our house look as if they may be finished today/tomorrow. They have been ongoing from early September and have caused a lot of inconvenience.

Anyway, I shall calm down, have some breakfast and enjoy the rest of the day!

Hope you all do too. tchgrin

I pmed her, but no response, which is unusual.

Auntieflo Thu 20-Dec-18 08:07:45

Morning Mick, Annie to come and all. it's raining quite hard here , but getting brighter. Yesterday I did an extra volunteer stint at our charity shop, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Today we have to go and collect a parcel from the PO, so hope the queues are not too long.
I wish inspiration would strike re a present for DH. NFK please send vibes that I can use.
Please let us know if anyone hears how Gillybob is. She has been on my mind as well.
To everyone struggling or poorly, I send best wishes.
DH has just brought my first cuppa of the day, so will be up soon.
Have a good day one and all.

ninathenana Thu 20-Dec-18 08:01:45

Morning everyone.
Grey and damp after over nighrt rain in Kent.
Housework this morning then the firemen are back this afternoon. They came yesterday to check the alarms but got a "shout" 2 mins after they walked in the door.
Have a good day all.

Marydoll Thu 20-Dec-18 08:00:57

Kate, I wish I had known that there was a huge box of M&S party food, untouched from last year, I would have had no problems scoffing it! grin
I don't even remember buying it! tchconfused

NanKate Thu 20-Dec-18 07:57:27

Morning Mary I bet we could beat you in the oldest thing in the freezer. Perhaps this would be a good topic on GN ?

DoraMarr Thu 20-Dec-18 07:57:04

Good morning from a train speeding towards London. I've been up since.30 - off to look after my granddaughter for the day. I may have to have a nap this morning while she had hers!

Willow10 Thu 20-Dec-18 07:55:29

Blue - thank you for the tip. I've been getting them from B&M recently, but they seem to have sold out. I found some mocha flavour in the Pound shop, but they were a bit sweet. Coffee flavoured chocolates are so hard to track down, I've started buying five or six boxes at a time! I hate the thought of running out. As I only eat one or two a day at most, I have to make sure they have a good sell by date on them too!

NanKate Thu 20-Dec-18 07:55:21

Morning Mick Kitty and All.

Calm and cloudy in South Bucks.

Tracking down some game pie or similar today, I think we got some at Sainsbury’s last year topped with juicy cranberries.

BlueSapphire That sounds like my kind of film I will see if I have got it on one of my apps. Sorry it made you a little sad watching without your DH.

Marydoll Thu 20-Dec-18 07:53:53

Good morning all, I've been very busy.

I couldn't sleep, so I got up at 6.30am, oh the bliss of a quiet house and a cuppa!

I cleaned out the freezer, whilst DH was still asleep.
I'm think of starting a thread on What's the oldest thing you have found in your freezer? tchblush ?

Out for a bit of supermarket shopping , a baking day ahead and then nursery pick up.

Still no sign of Gillybob, worrying as she is a prolific poster. ?

Best wishes and prayers to Panache and Mr P. flowers

Have a good day everyone.
