Leave the poor girl alone. She is probably utterly delighted to be pregnant. Let her enjoy it, be herself and not criticise her all the time. It is no-one else"s business how she conducts herself.

Ruthiek I am with you on this one. I just find it mildly irritating, but I suspect we are in the minority.

Why shouldn't she? As others say, it is a natural thing to do. She is not a young mother, and she must be so happy that she has become pregnant so easily and has had none of the problems of difficulty conceiving that can affect women from her age.

I find the constant fault finding with every person who marries into the Royal Family tiresome. They have all suffered from it, Princess Diana, The Duchesses of York, Cornwall, Cambridge and now Sussex. The Duchess of Sussex has the triple disadvantage of being foreign, an actor and of mixed race, so all the nay sayers, professional and private are having a field day.

NannyJan no of course it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, it's just an observation.
I wouldn't class it "Meghan bashing" there is more than enough of that on FB !

I cannot see how this matters in the scheme of things. There seems to be a lot of Mehan bashing lately, especially in the Press. It is almost like they are willing the marriage to fail!

Yes it's natural to touch/hold your bump but is it natural to place one hand above and one below thus holding your clothing tight around your bump as I've seen her doing in a couple of photos. Great as photo for family to look back on in years to come but a little odd for the world's press. Just my opinion.

You don’t think she’s pregnant?

ruthiek Wed 19-Dec-18 00:38:34

Perhaps because I think she is role playing , I guess I doubt her

Its a protective reflex. Put any pregnant mum on front of a hoard of press (or anything else intimidating) and they'll do the same

Why two threads anyway leave the lass alone

humptydumpty Tue 18-Dec-18 22:31:45

How come this thread appears twice?!

Anja Tue 18-Dec-18 22:23:25

Love it that she cuddles the bump ❤️

How very strange that someone’s subconscious actions and happiness brings such a reaction from you.

Gonegirl Tue 18-Dec-18 22:18:49

I don't see her all that often to be honest.

Is it me or is anyone else fed up with seeing pictures of Meghan, Duchess of Sussex holding onto her bump, it has been constant since day1 of the announcement.now I am not averse to seeing pregnancy bumps , in fact it can be lovely, but I truly feel it’s almost as if she is acting all the time. It is starting to really grate on me , I wish someone would tell her to stop!!!
