Alone at xmas

Are any of your neighbours likely to be alone too? Perhaps invite them to your place for a drink and something to eat?

How about offering to help out somewhere like a soup kitchen?

Look at the local newspaper online, see what events are taking place, go to one.

I am so grateful I am alone at Christmas- I agree, nobody to bicker with and I can do exactly what I want when I want. Bliss.

Hi clive, I had a Christmas Day alone a while ago when both Son and Daughter were going to their respective in-laws and if you prepare, you can make it a nice day for yourself.
But some delicious food and treats for yourself, if it's a bright Christmas Day, go out for a walk, then eat, drink and sing along to Christmas songs on the radio and watch films and Christmas programmes all day, snuggled under a cozy throw.
And don't forget the Gransnet Christmas party!

If you seek company some council and charities host Christmas Dinners for those who will be alone at Christmas.

I have a tip.
Look at the threads here on who is going where, daughter in law problems, who's buying what and how much time people spend with whom, and be grateful you won't be having any of those issues.
