Good evening, Mick. You get up so early that I can't keep up with you. It's dark here in Cheshire until 7.30 am.

A very late Good morning from SE Essex.

Cannot seem to get going today, have done what was necessary and that's about it!!!

Hope you have a peaceful Tuesday (what's left of it)

Sunny Sussex, but very cold. Have just done a 30 min power walk into town, posted all Xmas cards off, bought my last gift ... and walked all the way home again. Xmas is now officially all done and dusted .... bliss.

Good morning everyone - what a lovely series of posts. It's lovely to know others are out there and appreciating the day etc. Mild here in Essex this morning - I'm grounded with a horrible flu type virus and i ache all over but I did pop out to the bin (I can't rest if there's mess?) suns out, sky is blue and I hope everyone has a good day.

Minus 3 earlier and slippery. I'm in a hospital waiting room for a routine appt so nothing serious and a good chance to catch up with your goings on. Have a good day everyone.

Odd weather last night here in Stockport, wet patio at the back, frosty car at the front!

I am off to deliver five storage boxes full of jam jars ready for our Jarbola on the WI stall at local Christmas Market tonight. Each one is full of toys or sweets for children to win, I hope it is busy as we have over 150 jam jars!

Then need to wrap up warm to serve on the stall this evening - it's a good job we will be opposite the pub selling hot dogs and mulled wine!

Good morning GNs. It's a beautiful sunny day here on Morecambe Bay. A frosty start, but it's bright & cheerful. Happy Tuesday, everyone!

Good morning all, beautiful day here in Somerset even the birds are singing. I am going out to lunch with some friends that I haven't seen for years and I am really looking forward to it. Just hope I can eat something as I still have a very large number of stitches in my mouth Happy day one and all.

A late good morning from a frosty Scotland. The designs on the car windscreen left by Jack Frost are exquisite but I had to be brutal and clear them. Have a good day all.

Good morning all, from a frosty West Sussex, after a star-filled night. Our 53rd Wedding Anniversary today. I am celebrating with an ECG this morning, and then we are looking after DGC (4-year-old twins) while Dsil goes to a governors meeting. No other plans as yet, but seeing the children will be lovely. Have a good day, everyone.

EllanVannin Tue 04-Dec-18 08:41:07

Good morning All x
Beautiful bright sunny morning though it was raining earlier. Decided to get ironing done for starters and have just finished a shopping list. How I get such a long list just for myself I don't know but there you are.

Hope all is well with everyone.

oldgaijin - good news for you.

Mapleleaf Tue 04-Dec-18 08:24:54

Good morning all,
A very frosty, bright morning here in South Yorkshire. The gritter was out last night when I went out to my first Christmas party and by the time I came out of the venue there was frost forming on the car.
Meeting a friend later for coffee, but before I go, must get the ironing done. I might even make a start on the cards later today! tchsmile
Hope everyone has a good day, and oldgaijin, that is good news. flowers

Morning Mick, Annie to come and all others. woke to a frosty outlook, but it is lovely and bright.
Volunteering this afternoon, and not much planned for this morning.
Our new rug was delivered yesterday afternoon, and I'm not sure about it. We had had the old one for years and this one is so different. It spent last night, face down, (not hiding it's face) but to flatten the edge.
Pittcity, shame about DH car, let's hope it's not too serious.
Marydoll, our PO had a petition against it's closure, and I hope it will be successful.
Oldgaijin, good news.
Have a good day one and all

harrigran Tue 04-Dec-18 08:18:00

Good morning, we have a harsh frost here in the NE.
Must try and start on the Christmas cards today, I know where they are now after tidying the study yesterday.
GP appointment this afternoon and then some food shopping.

Alygran Tue 04-Dec-18 08:12:44

Good morning everyone.
The sun has just popped over the horizon into a clear blue sky. Looks very frosty out! Ironing this morning then meeting a friend for lunch. Really must start the cards today. Sat last night and watched all 4 episodes of the Cry back to back. I wonder what today’s distraction tactic will be?
Hope the day is kind to you all.

Marydoll Tue 04-Dec-18 08:08:44

Good news, oldgaijin, flowers

oldgaijin Tue 04-Dec-18 08:06:49

Good morning all GN's from a frosty Aberdeenshire. Not much planned for today except eye test...should I be driving as everything is a bit fuzzy?
Oncologist yesterday was pleased with me and I don't have to see her 'til end of January. Life's good!

Brunette10 Tue 04-Dec-18 07:49:47

Good Morning all from a cold and frosty Fife. It's dry though so that for me is good. Meeting a friend this morning for coffee and catch up. Planning on finishing off cards too today. Marydoll sure your DGD will be absolutely fine. Take care everyone.

Sar53 Tue 04-Dec-18 07:49:12

Good morning everyone from a much brighter looking Leamington Spa. My last full day here today. DD1 and I are taking DGD3 to a garden centre today , hopefully to see live reindeer, should be fun.

Marydoll Tue 04-Dec-18 07:42:31

Good morning all, when I went to bed last night, there was a heavy frost, this morning it's damp and wet with a dark cloudy sky. There is no sign of Venus sad.

This is DGD's first full morning at nursery and we are on standby in case she doesn't settle. She should be OK, as one of my closest friends works there and will keep an eye on her.
I plan to finish off writing my Christmas cards and visit the post office. This time last year, we had three post offices, now we have only one in the town and it is impossible to get parked anywhere near it.
Have a good day everyone, Mick don't spend too much and GD, I hope you are feeling a bit brighter today. flowers.

NannyJan53 Tue 04-Dec-18 07:41:33

Good Morning from a very icy Black Country. Clear blues skies this morning when I took Partner to train station, and an beautiful crescent moon and a very bright Venus.

U3A Tap dance group this morning. Then this afternoon, picking up 1 DGD from school, as her sister is playing in a football tournament and SIL has to take her there.

Have a good day everyone.
