Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, but dry this morning could be milder outside this morning.
Yesterday , saw plenty of Xmas activity in Bicester and Buckingham.
Mind you Friday , I popped into Banbury ,and the bus journey took 1hr and 20 minutes for a 10 mile journey, thanks to a bridge diversion , and gridlock getting into Banbury by further roadworks.

After the rain, it’s a bright sunny morning here, but quite chilly (at least for California!) Big job for the day is to get the Christmas tree up and sort out the lights which we know need quite a few replacements from last year. Young IT guy coming over this evening to hopefully fix our computer, so I’ll prepare dinner for the three of us. Your Sunday daytime is nearly done in the UK, hope you all had a good one. Mine is just beginning?

starbox Oh wow!!! Beautiful picture. I have just got in from the greenhouse checking on the status of plants in there for the winter, my hydrangda cutting which are two years old now are starting to bud!!! Just hope they survive if the weather turns very cold. I have no heating in there but plenty of bubble wrap and fleece to use if necessary.

Morning all!

Just had a pleasant read here with a couple of reasons to smile thrown in. Thanks to contributors always. Just off to church but may well return for a second dip later.

Have an enjoyable day all, whatever you're up to.

Good morning everyone.
Damp and threatening sums up the weather.
My careful cementing washed right out again on the south facing wall, but set hard on the west facing wall. Glass half full. Lots more rain to come this week.
A neighbour just called to say one of the car windows was open. All night. The passenger seat is soaked but the dashcam is still there, so is the expensive clean air contraption my daughter bought for the sake of my little grandson in this polluted city, and so was the car. Glass 95% full.

Good morning
A lot milder here today and the sun is trying to make an appearance, but I’m not sure for how long.
Off to the Christingle service shortly.
Enjoy your day. tchsmile

Morning everyone. Dull, dry but warm today. We are going to a Christening and I have decided it is warm enough to wear a dress instead of wearing just about every piece of clothing I own! Trouble is I have two massive bruises come out on on my face after dental surgery. OH is is worried people might think its his fault, well it is in a way he paid for the surgery. Have a happy day everyone.

Grey and dull in Sussex today but at least the rain has stopped, for now. We have my grandsons other grandparents coming down from London today so all going out together for a meal in a country pub, and a glass or 2 of Prosecco ?, a perfect winter Sunday.

Lovely morning here, and I've seen several trees in blossom, so must be nearly spring!

Have a wonderful day Maw. You must be excited to see your DGS perform in such a wonderful ballet

Salutations all from a slightly bright with a touch of frost Aberdeenshire. Am still in bed as I hit the town early, yesterday but so did everyone else! Anyway, knickers from Santa have been purchased. Off to a carol concert this afternoon at the local stately pile. Have a good day all.

Good morning all from a mild, sunny East Northants. Slept in this morning and thankfully my back is much better after a quiet day indoors yesterday. Must do some shopping this morning ready for family visitors tomorrow. Hope its a good day for everyone.

Good morning from the NE coast . A very warm night last I night had to get up and open the windows wide. A bit housework this morning then possibly off to get our Christmas tree (I would wait another week or even 2 but the DGC are insistent) .

Have a good Sunday everyone.

Morning All.. pouring down and foggy here in Lancashire...not too cold though..going to make a start on wrapping Christmas presents...first need to walk gizmo(dog) but he hates putting his coat on..but he's smelly enough without getting wet through as well haha..

DoraMarr Sun 02-Dec-18 09:01:16

Good morning everyone from a bright and mild Birmingham. I slept in this morning- I always do on Sundays, must be a hangover from working life.
Lunch out with friends this lunchtime. It’s an early Christmas do before one of us jets off to Abroad for Christmas.
Enjoy the ballet, Maw, it was wonderful. Which little boy is your grandson? They were all excellent.

Morning, folks! Dark and dreich in Argyll. Hey ho. If the rain stays off or only smirry I might go and tackle a garden dragon. Will also check for wildflowers. Some of you might be interested in taking part in #wildflowerhour on Twitter. One of the challenges at the moment is to try and find ten (#thewinter10) wildflowers still in flower each week. The last couple of weeks I've found over ten so it shouldn't be too hard if you are further south. Seven so far this week, including these three: herb robert, vinca major, meadowsweet.

Happy days, dudes!

Hope everyone has a good day x

Morning everyone.

Late start for me today, I was very surprised when I looked at the clock. It's dry and mild in Kent. Our towns Christmas lights were switched on last night, there was a lantern parade and steel band. All very festive.
I haven't read all the posts so if your feeling porely or are troubled, I wish you all the best.

Sar53 Sun 02-Dec-18 08:54:07

Good morning everyone from a bright Leamington Spa. We had a lovely evening watching DD1 singing at her Christmas concert, very uplifting.
DGD1 & 2 have dancing exams today so lots of tooing and froing for mum and dad and I will be left with 3 year old DGD3. I've watched an awful lot of Paw Patrol these last few days !!!
Have a lovely Sunday everyone. Maw enjoy The Nutcracker, I'm sure your GS will make you very proud.

Greyduster Sun 02-Dec-18 08:40:52

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Dull but dry in South Yorkshire. We are off to junior football this morning although I have spent a lot of the night walking about trying to get rid of peculiar aches and pains. I will try catch up on sleep later. Have a good day, Maw - you will be melting with pride and excitement! Happy Sunday, folks.

harrigran Sun 02-Dec-18 08:34:47

Good morning, overcast but not cold here in the NE.
Nothing planned for today but will catch up with the jobs I didn't get done yesterday.
Enjoy The Nutcracker Maw, it will be memorable.
