Grannies have always been used in comedy. It's not meant to be offensive just plain old-fashioned good humour.

We’ve got greedy granny here . The DGC find it very funny. Apparently “she” is a very, very old granny and I am just a grandma.

I think it's just meant to be a bit of fun. When I was a child, I would have thought such a game to be wonderful. I am sure children love it.

I bought the Greedy Granny game for my 6 year old granddaughter last Christmas and it's a brilliant game! When her false teeth fly out, everyone jumps! For the life of me I can't see what to get offended by, but I suppose some people would like to be. ageism my arse

Nah I m not offended there’s loads of Granny games online Angry Granny Scary Granny Granny on the run Then you ve got David Walliams Ganster Granny They re all pretend don’t think any grandkids believe their Nans are like that any more than grandads all have fat tummies and bits of fluffy hair sticking out over each ear

I would buy it - my GC and AC would find it hilarious ???

Its just one of many similar games - in the big picture of things there are far more insulting stereotypes to be insulted/ offended by.

Personally , my grandchildren would probably find it hysterically funny and whatever makes them laugh gets my vote.
