Good morning everyone

I was woken up at 5.00 by torrential rain here in Kent. It didn't last long but I couldn't get back to sleep.
DH was already down stairs, so I'll be stripping the bed to do the laundry when I summon the energy to get out of it.
Have a good day everyone.

Good afternoon everyone.
I’m rather late today.
So sorry to hear of your loss, and I send you my condolences greyduster ?
It’s managed to stay dry so far here, but the sky is looking very full at the moment so I wouldn’t be surprised if it does rain.
We are going out tonight, meeting former teaching colleagues. Looking forward to it.

Good Morning All. x
Sad news from gd condolences to those concerned.

Bright and calm so far but not cold here in the North West.
One of my cats is unwell so I'll be keeping an eye on him, feline ''flu I'm thinking as he's sneezing and can't be bothered moving.

Good morning there's a thin sun here after a wet night, the last of the Autumn leaves are everywhere outside our back door. We are having a walk this morning in Bushy Park, in an enclosed space called The Woodland Gardens, fortunately no deer, they are a bit scary at this time of the year as the rutting season is well under way.

This afternoon our son is bringing our grandchildren round to see us so look forward to that.

Sorry to hear your sad news Greyduster flowers

Quite bright here this morning after heavy rain overnight. Luckily I don't hear it as I take hearing aids out to sleep!

Not a lot planned for this weekend, a walking into town this morning and we may go to see A Star is Born tonight.

Morning Nina, Annie to come and all others.
Greyduster, so sorry to hear the sad news of your niece’s husband.
It was a soggy night, but drying now, and the sun is struggling to show it’s face.
Shopping later this morning, after our usual meet up for coffee with friends.
Met our new neighbour yesterday afternoon. She is delightful and they have a new baby due fairly soon.
I should also be stripping the bed Nina, but it can wait another day.
For all those who watch Strictly, enjoy, but we haven’t been bitten by the bug, so it’s not for us.
Have a good day one and all.

I have just see. Greydusters sad news and send all my sympathy. For a young family to be robbed of their husband and father is indeed tragic flowers

Good morning all from not very sunny Walthamstow where it absolutely chucked it down all night.
DD2 took me to “Company” at the Gielgud last night which was absolutely stunning. Shaftesbury Avenue in the rain and the tube at theatre coming out time were absolutely manic. This country bumpkin is not used to that any more!
Meeting up with DD3 for brunch later this morning, then going home and DD1 is coming to stay the night.
Lovely to have their support and indeed all the support of my GN friends- thank you!
Wishing you all a pleasant -and dry - day.

Willow10 Sat 10-Nov-18 07:57:05

Good morning all. Dry and bright in East Northants after a rainy night. Calling round to check on a friend this morning after she telephoned very distressed late last night. She had damaged her car hitting a kerb, trying to avoid an idiot on the road and just needed someone to talk to. We both agreed - circumstances like that are the worst thing about returning to an empty house. Later I will be visiting Wood Green animal shelter with my son - still hoping to find a little (cat friendly) rescue dog! Hugs to those who need it and a pleasant day to all.

Brunette10 Sat 10-Nov-18 07:56:09

Firstly, Greyduster I'm so sorry to hear your news. So sad.

It's bright enough here at the moment in Fife but I believe we have to get rain later. Only plans so far today is to choose our Christmas wine with out double-up points from Sains. No doubt there will be other things to do. Enjoy your day as much as you can everyone.

PECS Sat 10-Nov-18 07:53:31

Good morningnina goodmorning everyone. The sun is just about to come up over the rooves of the houses and into the clear sky. Last nights blustery rainstorm seems to have blown away. Last night saw the excellent film Peterloo. No plans for today other than making a couple of Christmas cakes.

So sorry to hear your sad news gdflowers

Good morning Nina and all.
A damp day here in Glasgow, but it seems quite mild.
Flu jabs this morning then a few bits and bobs at Morrisons.
I've had sewing jobs lying since the new kitchen was started, so I'm going to get my machine out try and finish them off today.
GD what sad news for you. flowers
Have a pleasant Saturday, everyone.

Baggs Sat 10-Nov-18 07:36:59

Morning, folks!

I went to sleep soon after 8 last night to the sound of lashing rain on the bedroom window. Woke up to drizzle but it's supposed to clear up later. I'm beginning to get the feeling weather forecasts for us are, let's say, optimistic rather than accurate. Hope to do some garden work today.

gd, flowers

kittylester Sat 10-Nov-18 07:33:58
