Good morning, all GNs and Michael in absentia. Enjoy your wedding, Mick! As no-one has started this morning I thought I would. Dull but dry in South Yorkshire and we are off to a cross country later and then an afternoon baking for me. Have a good day, folks

Morning GD, morning All

A still, clear morning here in Norfolk which is good as we want to bring our sailing boat home today and it can get a bit hairy hoisting her out of the water and lining up the trailer in a breeze. We’ll have the help of DGS too as he had a sleep over last night while his parents went for a meal out - a Christmas present! He’s now five and knows it all!

Good morning Greyduster and all from a misty Colchester. Travelling to Hayling Island today for family visit. It's going to be sunny later but I need my big coat now!

Morning Pitt

Morning Grey and well done for stepping in to open up! Hope Mick has a wonderful family wedding today.

It is set to be a lovely day here on the south coast and I intend to enjoy it solo as DH is off out with his bike club this morning then going to the footie (Portsmouth FC) this afternoon.

Hope the day is a good one for us all. sunshine

Morning Nfk and Pitt - give us a wave as you go to Hayling - we are very near!

Morning all, well done GD!!

It's a still, chilly start in North Leicestershire. Making brunch for Dh and DS1 before they go to the football and then a little bit of food shopping for yet another change of plan tomorrow.

Morning GD and All.

Lovely calm morning in South Bucks. Should be good weather for Mick’s nephew’s wedding which is happening close to where I live.

Nothing particular planned today.

Good morning all. Cool but dry in East Northants, but we are due for a good day so the washing is ready to go out! No plans yet, but some knitting and sewing to finish off and a jigsaw to start. Have a pleasant day everyone.

Good morning everyone x

Good morning GD and all, too dark to see what the weather is like here in Glasgow.

A busy day, as my children are coming to move out our sofas in preparation for an uplift to charity shop. The problem is, how to squeeze them in the garage beside whats left of the kitchen units, still to be installed. confused I will reward them with lunch. It's amazing what you can do with, a microwave and a George Foreman grill. I'm thinking of writing a recipe book based on my cooking experiences this week. grin

DD and fiancé are bringing dinner tonight, as they realise we have had it with the kitchen. It's not dinner we need it's ??? grin
Mick, I hope you have a great time at the wedding and everyone else has a pleasant Saturday.

Good morning from a dreech Fife. Not nice at all. No plans as yet for today, weather could put us off doing anything outside. We shall wait and see. I hope everyone has a good day.

Good morning all.
Starting to brighten up here in N. Bucks.
Popping over to DD1s to wait for a furniture delivery as they have unexpectedly had to go out.
Maybe some gardening this afternoon.
Enjoy the weekend.

Good morning everyone. Nice and bright here in Northampton. A visit to Sainsbury's this morning and then possibly a bit of gardening this afternoon. Putting some dried fruit to soak in strong tea overnight to make a tea loaf tomorrow - just have to remember to do it! Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning Greyduster, Annie to come, and all. Looks like being a lovely day here in sunny Berks, at the moment.
I thought the Good Morning thread was lost, had to scroll to find it, but here we are!
Have to do a shop today as yesterday I was finishing off more poppies for our church display.
Michael, enjoy the wedding.
To all a good weekend.

Good morning, overcast but not too cold this morning.
Still in bed as had a bad night, developed chest pains during the evening and was very sick, thought I was having a heart attack but more likely the hiatus hernia.

gillybob Sat 20-Oct-18 09:14:10

Sorry to hear that you are unwell harri hope you manage to get some rest and feel better soon. smile

Good Morning from a calm and chilly Black Country

Didn't wake up till 9am, and getting out of bed next doors cat was sitting on the landing! I can only imagine it has entered through our open bedroom window, it has done it before.

There is an open weekend at the Bonded Warehouse here in Stourbridge, where there will be canal boats, classic vehicles, music, food stalls etc. So will pop down there later this morning, as Partner is off to the Villa match this afternoon, and I am driving over to Lichfield later to babysit for DS and DIL.

I had a little chuckle to myself about your DGS Nfk as I remember when my Niece at the age of 3, tapped my Aunts arm and said 'Do you want to know something?' She said 'yes what?' Niece then said... ' I know everything'! smile . She is 27 tomorrow, and we never let her forget that story!

Enjoy your day everyone.

NannyJan53 Sat 20-Oct-18 09:33:51

Sorry, forgot to say.

I hope you are feeling better now harrigran flowers

Greyduster Sat 20-Oct-18 10:16:34

Take it easy, Harri. I, too, hope you’re feeling better.
