Good morning Mick, Annie and all.
Late again, I'll be getting a detention mark if I don't buck up. I am still getting GN on my old tablet, but keep looking for it on my new IPad. I think I have registered my email change correctly. We'll see.
Hope the baby arrives today Kitty.
Have a good day folks.

Good morning all.
Damp but bright at the moment but rain is due later I think. Off to Lynton area today.

Good morning all from a breezy and bright Northampton. Feels quite mild, didn't have to put the heating on this morning. Just waiting for Sainsbury's to deliver. Then I'll be cutting the back grass this afternoon, no doubt supervised by the cats!

Good morning all. I slept in late after a disturbed night. But I'm retired and used to look forward to lazy mornings with no alarm. So why do I still feel guilty if the curtains aren't open by 8 a.m? confused At least its dry and very mild. Must look into rearranging the flu jab that I missed today. Have a good one everyone.

Good morning from an overcast NE.
Flu injection this morning then out to lunch with sister and BIL to celebrate her birthday.
Had a wonderful day at Beamish yesterday, the weather could not have beeen better, blue sky and full sun all day. Riding in the tram brought back memories from childhood.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A grey misty start in South Yorkshire, with rain expected. I haven’t stopped sneezing since I opened my eyes. It is not doing my back any good. Domestics today, and school run later. Fish pie for tea?! Have a good day, all.

Morning Mick and All from a cloudy South Bucks.

Bit worn out today after our trip to Windsor yesterday managing to avoid all the police in the town preparing for tomorrow. Bought some lovely plum coloured leggings in M and S for £9.50, rather pleased with my purchase.

Taking it quietly today.

Come on Baby Lester we are all waiting for your arrival.

aggie Thu 11-Oct-18 07:23:32

Morning all , got up early to take antibiotics for uti , dark and stormy out there . I remember waddling home from an antenatal apt having been told baby was definitely coming that day , one week later my 9lb baby girl sauntered into the world , she is still laid back grin 50 years later

Brunette10 Thu 11-Oct-18 07:16:14

Good Morning all and all who follow. It is like ' thick pea soup' here in Fife today, Cn't see thing out of window. I think we are in for a horrible day. have the joiner coming to finish off inside of new front door, so glad it's finished outside!. kittylester I think baby is def gong to make a grand entrance! Off to hairdresser for col/cut this morning then some shopping later to fill cupboards. Despite weather hope you are all fine and have a good day. - enjoy!

ninathenana Thu 11-Oct-18 07:13:17

Morning everyone.

We've had some rain over night in Kent but it's now dry and breezy.
Another eye clinic apointment this morning. DGS is home and full of beans and thrillled that he met spiderman on the ward.

NannyJan53 Thu 11-Oct-18 06:56:10

Good Morning everyone.

It is still dark here, only up early to take partner to the train station for work, or I would still be in bed!

So annoying kitty when something like that wakes you and then you cannot get back to sleep. I don't have that problem as I wear hearing aids which are taken out at night grin

We had a lovely GN meeting in Birmingham yesterday, meeting old and new faces. Arrived home about 3.30pm to a text asking if I could collect DGD2 from school as her sister was in A & E after hurting her finger playing tennis at school. She had chipped a bone in her little finger, but seemed quite chirpy when she arrived home.

Meeting friends for lunch today, so the holiday ironing still has to wait!

Have a good day all .

Morning All

Breezy and dry in Norfolk with the promise of sun later.

I’ve booked in for a shift at our local NT stately pile. I haven’t been for ages so it’s going to be a test for my memory shock

It sounds as if a good tot of gin and a fast drive down a bumpy track is needed Kitty - I remember a friend resorting to that (in the Good Old Days) and it worked. And wasn’t castor oil in the equation somewhere too for reluctant babies?

kittylester Thu 11-Oct-18 06:41:43

Morning travelsafar and corner..

kittylester Thu 11-Oct-18 06:40:24

Morning Mick, morning all.

It's still dark in North Leicestershire and I have been awake since our neighbours were picked up by a taxi at about 3.30! The downside of sleeping with the window open!!

First session of our next Carer's course today so an early start for me.

Slow cooked beef sounds good Mick!

Still no baby!!

cornergran Thu 11-Oct-18 06:39:24

Morning Mick, Morning All. From what I can see it’s dry in our corner of Somerset, rain due later. Face hurts from a sore tooth, another week to my appointment. Oh well, it will settle. A bit of admin and a short meeting today, so a quiet one for me. Hope Thursday is kind to everyone.

travelsafar Thu 11-Oct-18 06:35:14

Morning all, it is dark dry and quite warm here today.Have woken refreshed after a good 6.5 hours of sleep, one of my good nights.Am off to do a shift in care this morning,my only shift this week, looking forward to seeing the elderly people who i take care of to see how they all are. Once i get home it will be a 'date with my sofa' as i will be shattered no doubt and my back will be aching no doubt. Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning Everyone,
Its dark, but its dry here in brackley this morning.
Usual day out today to Buckingham and Bicester , intend to do a slow cooked roast beef this weekend ,and Sainsburys in Bicester seem to offer the best prices.
