I tried Spanish and could read it but can’t understand the spoken word at all. Way too fast.

I’m working on Portuguese at the moment because I like to go there for two or three weeks in the Winter.

Definitely good for your brain.

Has anyone taken up learning a new language once they retired. I know it is supposed to help your stimulate your brain i just wondered if it is fairly easy or did you find it very difficult.We have a sort of hub where they do languages but it is quite costly and i wondered if it is worth the cost. Also which language do you think would be most beneficial.
