I hadn't a clue until Gds (2) turned up yesterday with a card he'd made at nursery!

I didn't know it was now another day that we're supposed to buy in to.
I think its all a load of crap to be honest.

It was me who took pressies - now, where did I go wrong?

I am going to Grandparent's 'tea' at youngest DGS school on Friday. Not sure if it is coincidental or part of this new-fangled attempt at card sales! Cynical, moi?

DH and I went to have tea and cake with DGS1 at his school on Friday morning in honour of Grandparents' Day. There was a collection in aid of Age UK which raised quite a sum. We were presented with a homemade card and certificate from the grandson too, each of them sporting lovely drawings of Grandma and Grandpa and wonky handwritten eulogies "to the best grandparents in the world".

Unfortunately we are Nanna and Grandad. grin We know our place.
