Good morning all, it's dry so far.
I'm late this morning, I actually had a whole night's sleep. It was probably sheer exhaustion after having DGD five days in a row.
We were preparing for an other overnighter with "helicopter girl", as mum and dad were delayed at Heathrow for hours. DIL was in tears, thinking she wasn't getting home to see her wee darling. I was in tears also at the thought of having only an inch of the bed to sleep on, whilst DGD marked her territory.
! They managed to get home late last night, which was a relief to all.
I hope to have a quiet day, apart from going to help an elderly friend who wants to book long haul flights , and doesn't know how to .
Maw, I hope you find some relief soon, relentless pain is so debilitating. I was prescribed Lignocaine plasters for my hands and wrists, I wondered if they might help. Mine helped a little, but I needed so many that I had to stop, as too much medication was getting into my system.
Brunette, glad everyone is home now.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone.
