I haven’t seen morethan’s post from yesterday, but gather something must be seriously wrong, so send my thoughts and prayers to her.

I am hiding in my bedroom from builders, they have taken over my house.

My thoughts and prayers are with morethan, so terribly sad.

Morning Mick, Annie and all GN's. Didn't open my eyes until nearly 9 this morning, and I have friend coming for coffee at 11, so had better get a wiggle on.
I read Morethan's post yesterday, so have been adding her to my prayers. As Willow says, she is receiving wonderful support from others here. My heart is sad for her.

Good morning all. First day of October and it's still bright and sunny in East Northants. Sore throat still lingering after a week - why is it always worse at night? ? I haven't read about Morethan either, but something seems to have upset those that have. I hope today gets better for all those who need it.

Bright sunny morning here in mid Surrey. Am getting up slowly due to a bad back but the sunshine is a good motivator! Just heard the gaggle of girls off to the school up the road. DGD dulcet tones included

Grandson had his party yesterday, of course. It was very nice.

Good morning from a bright and breezy Birmingham. Extra bit of childcare this morning while my daughter goes to an interview, and I will take my granddaughter to my other daughter’s to have lunch - lots of food left over from grandson’s first birthday party tomorrow. Travelsafar- I’m eying a tottering pile of paperwork that I MUST get round to today. My balcony looks a lot better after the working party on Friday, thanks to friends with much greener fingers than mine, so will stop off at local nursery for a bit of inspiration.

Good morning Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining in South Yorkshire but it is cold. Domestics today, then I will bake some biscuits to take over for GS this afternoon. It will soften the blow when we have a conversation about his behaviour yesterday! Have a good day folks.

Morning to all, bright but very cold here today in Fife, so glad of central heating! Got some chores to do today then off to meet my cousins for coffee. Sore finger unfortunately more sore today. Hope doc can do something about it tomorrow. Hope you all have pleasant day. Enjoy!..

Very chilly but brighter than yesterday here in South Yorkshire.

New front door being fitted this morning so I’m glad it’s dry.

Hope your foot eases, cornergran. Isn’t it strange how things sometimes happen and we don’t know how we did it!

With the promise of another fine day here in Letchworth i have stripped my settee suite of it's covers and the first load is already in the washing machine and will go out on the washing line very soon. I made a little list yesterday of things to be done today which involves some cooking, cleaning and catching up on paperwork. Not planning on going out anywhere today as busy everyday of the rest of the week.

Helping at a Memory Cafe this morning where there us going to be a Ukele group. Then lunch at the pub with 3 friends - lots of catching up to do!

I have been awake most of the night again. So many worries. I too have been thinking about poor morethan and her family Marydoll I do hope she gets some good news today.

A bits and pieces day for me. Housework, an hour or so of DGS1, collect DD2 from airport , some food shopping etc. etc.

Good morning everyone from Essex by the sea. OH left about 06.30 for the long train journey to Durham, then tomorrow to Scarborough. It's a work meeting. I meanwhile have to stay in for the boiler to be serviced today and some work to be done in the bathroom tomorrow. What an exciting life I lead !!! My thoughts are with morethan and her family.

Its raining in Norfolk! And I nearly watered the new grass seed yesterday as it seemed so dry.

Still recovering from the weekend. Why is my house a tip when we haven’t been here?
