Good morning all.
Hope you are all ok. I’ve been away for a couple of weeks but it’s all back to normal now, with washing and ironing all the holiday clothes!
Enjoy your day. ?

Morning All

Bright and exceedingly autumn chilly this morning in the north of Norfolk.

Two separate chaps coming this afternoon to give quotes for new flooring in the dining room. I just hope the first bloke is on time doesn’t hang around too long and bump into the second. I don’t know why but I feel very guilty getting more than one quote. (There was a third but we didn’t like him)

Good Morning All,
A wonderful crisp Autumn day here too, blue sky, just perfect for going for a long walk ( after a shower and a lazy start to the day that is.)
I may even do a few household chores.Or not.?

Anniebach Tue 25-Sept-18 08:44:16

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Hope everyone has a good day x

MawBroon Tue 25-Sept-18 08:36:04

Good morning all from a bright crisp sunny N Bucks.
The perfect September morning!
Those of you who share sleep problems will appreciate my delight (and surprise) at my managing to sleep from just before midnight until 6.45 this morning without waking up once !
Cleaner coming later this morning, so maybe a trip to Waitrose or just out for a coffee.
Wishing you all a pleasant day!

Good morning from a bright but chilly Northampton. Just going to hang some washing out and have got another load in. Doing a bit more decluttering, getting rid of some of our vast collection of mugs - do I really need 20/30 mugs now that I'm on my own? I have a 'good' set for when visitors come. Keeping late DH'S favourite one.
Going to try one of these 'health' walks this afternoon, and then going with a friend to collect her new car.

Auntieflo Tue 25-Sept-18 08:30:24

Morning Mick, Annie to come, and all . Lovely bright, sunny, slightly nippy day here. Washing on the line later, it's so lovely to bring it in all fresh and open air smelling! Volunteering this afternoon, I do enjoy it with my friends. Yesterday I had a go at tidying some of the garden. Unfortunately some if the fence between us and a neighbour, is down. The house is empty and it is their fence.
We still have the original posts and wire fence, so cannot get at it to repair. May buy some temp. screening to make it look better.
Gagagran, enjoy your new sofas, we've had ours a few weeks now and they are lovely.
Marydoll hope you get the frames you want.
Have a lovely day one and all.

Good morning all. I'm doing my usual Tuesday thing today-quick flick round with the duster, then off to the local village market to peruse the yummy goodies. This afternoon hopefully I can find time to sit out and read-only thing is I haven't picked the book up for a while, so I'm going to have to re-read a couple of pages to refresh my memory.,..have a good day everyone.

Brunette10 Tue 25-Sept-18 08:27:50

Morning to everyone, later start today. It's bright and dry here in Fife. Have quite a busy day catching up with an old friend for coffee and doing regular chores etc. For those not feeling too good today, take care and look after yourself. Wishing you all a peaceful day.

Alygran Tue 25-Sept-18 08:24:17

Morning all.
Bright and sunny again in North Yorkshire. Ironing and gardening for me today.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Another chilly one but it will warm up like yesterday. Heating coming on first and last thing.
Shopping and laundry day.

Sar53 Tue 25-Sept-18 08:15:20

Good morning everyone from a sunny Essex by the sea but quite chilly. I'm off to Bluewater to meet DD2 and DGD5. OH has a birthday in a couple of weeks and I am looking for inspiration, he is so hard to buy for !!! I'm hoping the Dartford Crossing is behaving itself today. I hope you all have a lovely day.

travelsafar Tue 25-Sept-18 08:09:12

Bright and sunny with a bit of a nip in the air this morning. I am off to meet with the ladies of the knitting group i belong to, we are going for coffeeand a natter, no doubt some will have someknitting or crochet in their bag!!! My plan is to get out in the garden when i return home to have a bit of a tidy up and to just enjoy the last of the sunshine. Have a great day whatever you are doing everyone.

harrigran Tue 25-Sept-18 08:01:06

Good morning, bright but cool in the NE.
No plans for today but there are cuboards that need tidying. Novel or tidying ? Hard decision.

ginny Tue 25-Sept-18 07:56:08

Good morning from a bright and slightly frosty N. Bucks.
We are off to visit my Brother and Sister in Law for the day, about an hours drive away. Think we will avoid the motorway and take the scenic route. SIL and I will chat and do some craft work while DH and B turn on the TV and probably fall asleep.

Greyduster Tue 25-Sept-18 07:46:35

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. The sun is shining but it is very chilly in South Yorkshire. Not sure what we have planned for today. We’ll see what unfolds. NanKate, I like spiders too, so no conkers here either! Have a good day folks.

NanKate Tue 25-Sept-18 07:41:11

Hello Mary I too love nice/different/expensive frames for my glasses. I have Ronit Furst frames which are hand painted in Africa I just love them. I must admit I don’t have their very colourful ones, just the ones with two or three colours. Dame Edna would love them too ?

NanKate Tue 25-Sept-18 07:36:47

Morning Mick and All.

A beautiful Autumn day here in South Bucks.

At the weekend our 7 year old DGS put conkers in every room of his home to keep the spiders out. I quite like spiders so we are conkerless.

Sorry you had a bad trip home Kitty I sympathise we are regularly on the M25 which is awful too.

Off for a blood test today.

Marydoll Tue 25-Sept-18 07:32:08

Good morning all.
It's dry and rather cool in Glasgow this morning. Another one who has had a restless night of scary dreams. However, I woke up to the most beautiful orange sky, as dawn broke.
Off to the opticians for my annual check up, as my medication and health conditions affect my sight.
Unfortunately my DH will accompany me, as I won't be able to drive afterwards, so my penchant for buying expensive frames will be curbed. Now that I'm retired, it is sensible not to go over the top. This is despite the fact that my DIL gives me her staff discount.
We have a little routine, where she already has a selection of frames ready, "under the counter", and I choose the one I have shown her previously. I know it's a bit sneaky, but DH has no conception of prices nowadays.
Willow, I hope your throat improves, mine has lingered for a week and I think Corner's has been the same.
Gilly, I hope you too are feeling better.
Have a good day, everyone.

gillybob Tue 25-Sept-18 07:06:14

Good morning everyone x

Willow10 Tue 25-Sept-18 07:05:51

Good morning all from East Northants. Hoping for a dry, slightly warmer day. Woken up with a scratchy throat, after a restless night dreaming about spiders! Must have been thinking of the one that ran out from under the coffee table yesterday! Picking up my new reading glasses today, after returning the ones that I hated last week. Fingers crossed that these are better. Have a good day everyone.

Gagagran Tue 25-Sept-18 06:37:49

Morning kitty!
