Are you on Instagram (or do you Twit)?

Possibly I am a little naive but I wonder what would be the benefit of following Gransnet on Instagram. I am always careful of how much personal information I put on the web. I am on Facebook occasionally, and am on a few closed forums that share my interests, and of course Gransnet which I do enjoy very much. But I see it says "follow us on Instagram". Have other grans joined and do they find it interesting? I may be wrong but I have always thought that Twitter would want a lot of personal information. Perhaps one of you ladies could tell me.

I am on both but rarely use them, Gransnet on twitter has the same as on here but is easier to follow on here. I dont really understand instagram, seems to be a picture someone has taken and a one liner.

I only have them as I do not want to get left behind in case they will be the only way to communicate online. Instagram is useful to me as my grandson added me and has forgotten, he did not add his parents, so I can keep an eye on him.

I know it is dated now but I still prefer Facebook.
