Auntieflo, I am having these weird dreams too! Several times lately I've woken up with a shout, heart racing and feeling very scared of something I have dreamt about. I wonder what causes it? I'm not a cheese eater and the last thing I have is a slice of toast with a cup of tea at 7pm, so it can't be related to food.

That sounds like a lovely day out Mick shame about the weather yesterday in London.
Good morning all, I was very tired last night after going to the “Aftermath” exhibition at Tate Britain about the influence of WWI on artists in the early 20thC so was not entirely surprised to wake up at 8.30! It must be the pace of London which gets to me - everybody and everything does move faster than here in the sticks!
Quiet morning in store then Art History this afternoon. Must make sure I don’t nod off though blush

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. A bright day here in South Yorkshire, but cool I expect. I am going through a phase of waking in the middle of the night and not being able to get off again for ages. Visiting my neice this afternoon, and then school run.
We saw the moon, Alygran and it was rather splendid. I wish I had taken a photo. Have a good day folks.

Auntieflo Mon 24-Sept-18 09:07:25

Good morning Mick, Annie, and all GN's here already. I need some of the get up and go that I am missing. Didn't open my eyes until 8.30 this morning. Had a restless night, and seem to be having very vivid dreams lately.
Have a good day all.

Good morning, beautiful sunny but cool day in the NE.
Thought of you Mick when heard that man was arrested at the palace yesterday, hoped it wouldn't impact on your visit.
Don't get me started on GP appointments, can't get through on the phone and they have switched off the computer access to the practice.

Alygran Mon 24-Sept-18 08:57:00

Good morning from sunny North Yorkshire. Busy weekend with all the family which was lovely. Did anyone see the moon rise last night? It was beautiful.
Stayed at Strand Palace a couple of times Mick.
Wishing Dora all the best.
Must get cracking and sort bedrooms out.
Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all!
It's a beautiful morning here in west Cheshire. Wall to wall blue skies and brilliant sunshine!
It's cold, but we're wrapping up and heading off to Chester Zoo with DGS for the morning. We have memberships and it's only a 15 minute drive, so we'll spend a while there, then home for lunch. Hopefully, small person will have a snooze this afternoon, and so might Nanny and Grandad!
Hope you all have a lovely day!

Hope everyone has a good day x

Good morning all from a bright, sunny East Northants. Up late after a very restless night - I think it was putting the winter duvet on that did it! Not sure what my day will bring but it's too nice to stay indoors. Hope everyone's day goes well.

Good Morning everyone, nice day here in Fife, albeit chilly. Meeting a friend for catch up today. Trying to phone docs at this very moment and driving me mad. Just need to get appointment for very sore arthritic finger. Marydoll what a lovely surprise, make the most. Glad all went with your trip Mick yesterday. Had better go getting annoyed now! Have a great day everyone.

A sunny Good morning to all from N. Bucks.
Fairly quiet day for me. DH is at golf so a nice day of crafting after I have given DD2 a lift to the airport.
Hope all goes well Dora.

Morning Mick and All.

Beautiful sunny but cold day in South Bucks.

Had a lovely time with DS and DGSs this past weekend, very tired now but it was worth it. Little one in tears again after our departure.

No food in the cupboard so must stock up PDQ.

Best of luck today Dora.

Glad you had a good day Mick.

It’s been a very busy weekend in North London. I had a friend staying and she swam a mile in the Serpentine on Saturday and I got very wet and cold. She goes home, back north, today.

Good morning from a sunny but cold Colchester. Digging out sweatshirt and long joggers for walking netball this morning. At least it's dry.

Marydoll Mon 24-Sept-18 07:37:12

Best wishes, Dora, I hope all goes well with your appointment.

Good morning Mick, Annie and everyone from a gloriously sunny Birmingham! No heating on yet- my apartment is very warm, although I have put the underfloor heating on in the bathroom. I’ve an appointment at the Women’s Hospital to get the results of my biopsy, then, regardless, we will go into Birmingham for a nice lunch.

Good Morning from a bright, sunny but very chilly Black Country (just back from taking partner to train station)

Today will be spent finishing off packing as we are flying to Malaga tomorrow sunshine

Had a lovely family meal Saturday day night for my 65th, not often both children DGD's, Mum, my brother SIL and niece all get together in one place, plus my friend came too.

I think they arrested someone at Buckingham Palace yesterday Mick for possession of a weapon?

Have a good day everyone.

Blue45Sapphire Mon 24-Sept-18 07:09:36

Good morning everyone, glad you had a nice day yesterday Mick. Nice and bright here in Northampton this morning, but a bit chilly.
I too am in my winter dressing gown now and have given in and put the heating on this morning! Was hoping to hold off till October.
Off to yoga this morning and then coffee together afterwards and then a brisk walk home.

Good morning everyone (evening and wine time for me). Yesterday was gloriously sunny and today started out well. The clouds have moved in and I suspect that it is going to rain tonight – not, I hope, the classic New Zealand deluge that floods large parts of my garden and drive, but a gentle and persistent rain that waters my lovingly nurtured plants.

Greetings to all Gransnetters in the UK.

Marydoll Mon 24-Sept-18 07:00:22

Morning, Kitty, Nina and Gaga grin.
I'm so slow or perhaps I should just not witter on!

Marydoll Mon 24-Sept-18 06:58:59

Good morning Mick and all who follow. I'm glad you had a good trip Mick.
DH was up at the crack of dawn, I don't what he is taking, but I will have some of it.
I went downstairs to get some of my medication, looked out and all the washing was blowing in the wind, my breakfast was set out and when I got back upstairs, the bed had been made.
I may as well get up, read some GN and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Some chores today, including chasing up the blacksmith, who should have installed the new handrails weeks ago.
Have a good day everyone.
