I buy the seeded bread and it depends where I buy it from,it ranges from 79p in Aldi to £1.45 in Sainsburys.
I do split them though and freeze half.

I must be a bit of a tight wad! I wouldn't dream of buying a loaf of bread without knowing how much it cost. We are not hard up but for years we were. Old habits and all that.

I think last time I bought Sainsburys multiseeded bread it was about £1.47. It’s delicious. I usually freeze half of it, as we don’t eat a lot of bread these days. I also buy tiger bread because it keeps well - about 75p for a small bloomer.

The only price I know is my fortnightly treat from the local bakery of a cheese and Marmite loaf at £2.50.

I have no idea either. My DH works in the local Co-op three days a week and does all my shopping. What a lucky woman I am.

I know! I know, Miss!! but only because I had to pop into the shop yesterday, just for bread
£1.49 for a sliced white bloomer

Well......gf bread is a blinking fortune! DH's is about the same price for a huge loaf.

I remember going to the coop for my mum and a loaf was 10d.

The loaf we buy is £1.05. Would love to eat posh bread but can not tolerate seeds.

My half loaf was 80 pence yesterday in Tesco. I also noticed that a bag of sugar was less than it was forty years ago!

I bought an unsliced large seeded loaf from Sainsbury and at breakfast DH said ' this is nice how much is it?' 'Not the faintest' I replied. It used to be the sort of thing people kept an eye on- does anyone here without looking know what the price of their bread is?
