So sorry for you Nana3 ?

Dr Gillespie ? wasn’t he the old chap, all wrinkly and about the age I am now ? No no Mary fairs fair you have had Dr Kildare with you for far too long, you’ve worn him out. You can see I am a tad better and can focus on the screen that is always a good sign.

Good Morning Mick, Annie, you beat me to it again, and all GN's. I can't 'come to' this morning. My tea was tepid, having been there for 20 mins or so. Grey here also, but dry. I'm off volunteering this afternoon, and have a wash to put in later, but nothing else much planned. In great expectation, I have put an old vacuum out with the rubbish, hoping that our lovely refuse collectors will take it away. Fingers crossed. Marydoll I loved the thought of your singing building inspectors. Hope all goes well. Have a good day one and all.

Oops - sorry, that should have said conkers!

Good morning. N. Bucks is very windy and rather dull.
Lunch with a couple of friends and then a food shop with DH. Oh joy !

Nana3 Tue 18-Sept-18 08:19:06

Good morning all, raining in Lancashire. Took me a while to realise you meant apples willow.
A very good neighbour has died suddenly, I am upset. Must make the most of each day, so sad.
Have a good day everyone, some of you are very busy, don't know how you do it. I'm full of admiration.

Quite mild here in Letchworth this morning, the clouds are scurrying across the sky to reveal some blue. Out for a few bits of shopping this morning then later this evening going to celebrate my son's birthday with what i hope is a lovely meal and evening, mixture of family and his friends attending, about 20 of us all together so should be a fun time.

cornergran Tue 18-Sept-18 08:15:02

Morning Mick, Morning All. Grey and very windy in our corner of Somerset. Apparently still mild, not been out to check. Best get a wriggle on, hair cut and lunch with a GN friend before Granny detail. Good day ahead. Hope Tuesday is kind to everyone.

Good morning Auntyflo and all x

Alygran Tue 18-Sept-18 08:11:49

Good morning from a damp and windy North Yorkshire. Off to RHS Harlow Carr to meet a friend this morning. Likely to be more Betty’s than garden unless it brightens up!
Have a good day everyone.

Welcome to the "Good morning" thread, Blue45Sapphire

Kate you know Dr Kildare is my personal physician, I cannot bring myself to share him with you, so I'm sending you Dr Gillespie, his boss. grin
Migraines are so debilitating, I hope you feel better soon.

Pittcity Tue 18-Sept-18 08:07:53

Good morning from a bright and breezy Colchester.
Off into London for a Gransnet meetup at Harvey Nicks...I have dressed in my finest Primani!

Blue45Sapphire Tue 18-Sept-18 07:57:50

Good morning everyone from a very windy and grey Northampton! Yesterday afternoon was beautiful so I pottered in the garden and then sat in the sun with the cats who love a bit of sunbathing! I then found that my vine had some lovely bunches of sweet purple grapes, so of course I was eating them straight from the vine. Off to social club this morning, then do a few jobs at home this afternoon.

harrigran Tue 18-Sept-18 07:55:49

Good morning, grey and damp this morning but not cold. Have a meeting at the stadium of light today but am achy after a seaside walk yesterday.

Willow10 Tue 18-Sept-18 07:55:34

Good morning all from a grey, windy but very warm East Northants. Opened the curtains to see the road outside covered with fallen cookers! That will please the guy who has been trying to get planning permission to have it cut down. It's washing, library and petrol station for me today - doesn't get more exciting than that! Enjoy your day everyone.

NanKate Tue 18-Sept-18 07:54:45

Thanks Mary and Nina for your good wishes. I need Dr Kildare to lay his cool hands on my forehead.

Would soaking your hands in warm water help Mary no doubt you have tried that. Epsom salts are supposed to help too. Or is it a case, just like me and my head, of waiting for it to pass ?

Greyduster Tue 18-Sept-18 07:50:28

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Grey and ‘muggy’ in South Yorkshire but blowing fit to bust. We were going to the seaside today but the winds are going to be very strong along the east coast so it doesn’t bode well. There will be another time. So we will probably have lunch out somewhere instead. Whatever you are doing, have a good day.

aggie Tue 18-Sept-18 07:49:56

forgot the weather report ! .. Grey and still , after a stormy night ...

DoraMarr Tue 18-Sept-18 07:49:43

Good morning Annie and everyone from the cloudy and windy Somerset coast. I’m going to be on sandcastle- making duty with second granddaughter today while her parents go out for lunch, then I might go into Dunster to visit the nice little dress shop opposite the yarn market.....

aggie Tue 18-Sept-18 07:44:50

Good Morning all , early wakening for me at 6am , but I had gone to bed and lights out at 9pm , heard DD and SIL go back to work after their holiday , there were a few sighs and grumbles ! Thank goodness my yuck has gone , just had a wake up cup of coffee smile
I miss GS these mornings now he is at Secondary school and can get the bus at his front door

ninathenana Tue 18-Sept-18 07:44:03

Morning everyone.

Ditto the grey cloud and strong winds here in Kent. Supermarket this morning and housework this afternoon. I lead an exciting life.
Have a good day everyone. Hope you feel better soon Kate

Marydoll Tue 18-Sept-18 07:43:42

I told you my typing was useless! grin
It is I who will be singing, I got the impression he is a bit grumpy!

loopyloo Tue 18-Sept-18 07:40:46

A building inspector singing off an extension is a lovely image!

Marydoll Tue 18-Sept-18 07:38:50

Old Goat, it will look great when it's finished!
Feeding the builders was nearly as costly as the extension! grin

Marydoll Tue 18-Sept-18 07:37:14

Good morning also, Kate , Gilly and Nannyjan, my hands are too sore to type quickly this morning!
Kate, I hope you feel better soon.

NannyJan53 Tue 18-Sept-18 07:35:27

Oh, and good morning gilly seems like our posts crossed smile

You do have a busy morning helping get 3 children ready before work! Hope you have a good day.
