A dull start this morning with promises of it brightening up soon. Great North Run today so roads closed . Red Arrows later .
Glad you’re having such a brilliant time in Rome Marydoll

Have a good Sunday everyone .

Good Morning, from a grey and drizzly Black Country.

Sounds like you are having a lovely time in Rome Marydoll, I would love to go back there.

We had a lovely evening last night, seeing a production of Goodnight Mr Tom by the Stourbridge Theatre Company. Then a curry afterwards where the service was amazing, so we will definitely go back there. It is 10 mins walk from where we live and never been before.

Other half still asleep, so no sure what we are doing today, I fancy a bike ride if the rain stops!

Have a lovely Sunday all.

Good morning. There's light cloud over Colchester but it's going to be a warm day.
Feeling a bit jaded after two late nights out in a row.
We will walk to the shops for the makings of a Sunday Roast (We now seem to shop little and often to get a bit of exercise) and then feet up methinks.

Morning Mick, Annie to come, and all GN here and to come. Here in Berks, it's another trying to be bright morning. Yesterday was the same and turned out nice later. Off to church soon, and then I have a beautiful Heuchera, Marmalade, to plant.
Marydoll I envy your Spaghetti Vongele, as I love anything fishy smile and also your flea market trawl.
Best wishes to anyone with aches and strains.
Have a good day all

Morning Mick, Morning All. Bright, sunny start for our corner of Somerset. A need for a tidy and sort then off to a garden centre before cooking a roast for some of the family. Blimey, I feel tired just reading that grin. Hope Sunday is kind to everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. We had overnight rain in South Yorkshire, but I am hoping it is showing signs of brightening. GS is running in an athletics meeting near here this morning, so DH is going to watch and I am cooking lunch for afterward. Have a good day folks!

Morning all.

North Leicestershire is grey but dry.

A lazy day today in the Lester household with coq au vin for dinner.

Morning Mick and All.

Autumnal feel on our holiday by the Kennet Canal. Off to a 1940s weekend in Newbury. I should have put on my dancing shoes ? There is a Vintage Fayre where I will no doubt pick up a piece of jewellery or two.

What fun you are having Marydoll. Let us know what you buy in the flea market.

I am not sure what the vongole spaghetti is. I had pictures in my mind of stewed voles ?

Enjoy the sport Mick.

Morning All

High grey cloud in the north of Norfolk. And very autumnal. Visiting Granddog is curled up happy on the chair beside me. DH is still in bed. And I’m enjoying the garden room while I can. Soon it’ll be too cold to sit out here first thing in the morning. Winter draws on!

Good morning everyone.
Cloud cover but dry in S. Devon.
Too much food is catching up with me , so must cut back today. It’s so tempting and easy when it’s all laid on for you isn’t it?
Maybe a National trust property today or vineyard and creamery tour. Will probably explore a few villages too.

Going clothes shopping with DD ttoda.
Enjoy whatever your doing.

Marydoll Sun 09-Sept-18 06:38:32

Good morning Mick, you are well organised, I hope you enjoy your meal.
The sun is shining here in Rome.
We had a lovely day yesterday and I had my favourite meal, spaghetti alle vongole last night. I was disappointed it wasn't available the previous evening.
When we returned to our hotel last night, there were gifts from the manager; a platter of fruit, Prosecco on ice and flowers. It was so kind of him.
Off to the market. Who needs ancient ruins, when you have a huge flea market.? ( Only joking!).
Have a good Sunday, everyone.

Its dry with a grey sky this morning in Brackley , usual Sunday for me, pre -prepared my meal with a beef stew.
And feet up watching Great North Run, and cycling today.
