Good Morning Bank Holiday Monday

Good morning, rained all day yesterday in Lancashire, dd and family camping in a soggy field. I have the heating on.
No plans for today but something will turn up, probably housework like you Mick.

Morning all, its a bit chilly and rather grey looking today. I am off to do a shift of care work very shortly. After that i have a bit of shopping and few chores to complete.
Then my plan is a 'date with my sofa' and the remote control for the tv.
Feeling tired this morning as i didnt sleep too well last night so no doubt will doze once i sit down. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Mick and all. It's cool and grey here in Glasgow and we too have the heating on. .
The weather is definitely changing, as my joints are aching this morning.
We have DGD today and I think it will be a day of cuddling and spoiling. We received a picture of a snotty, flushed wee girl, who wasn't looking too well last night.
Hopefully this will be the last day of the builders!!! I'm not building up my hopes too much. That is until they come back in October to rip out the kitchen, as the building work has impacted on it. .

North Leicestershire is a bit grey but not cold. We had soooo much rain yesterday - a fair bit in the hall.

I have some elearning to do this morning and then we are off to friends' for prosecco and cake to celebrate their ruby anniversary.

After a lovely sunrise, the clouds have already crowded in and it’s really rather grey and breezy. A pity as we had planned to go sailing with DS and family this morning but the forecast indicates rather too much wind for us. We’re rather past all the energetic stuff!

Feels as if we should have webbed feet after yesterday's unremitting rain but although it's cloudy, it's dry here on the south coast and less chilly.

It's our local show today and DH is on duty at the cycling club stand. They have static bikes with an odometer for people to see how far they can pedal in 1 minute. It gets very competitive as there is a big chart and a prize. (They might need wellies though as the ground will be a quagmire after yesterday's rain). I might wander down later if it stays fine.

Do we all think summer has gone now then? September can be a lovely golden month so I am still hopeful!

Good Morning to everyone, it's rather cool here in NE Fife and yes heating is on. Got rather a busy day, housework nd shopping for last minute items for hols. Looking forward to hol but I'm a nervous flyer so wish that bit was over. Hope everyone down south has a great Bank Holiday whatever you end up doing. Marydoll hope you have a fun day with DDG and she isn't too much under the weather.

Dull in South Bucks.

The electrician is coming today to fit a radiator in the en suite. As I hate being around when work is being done in the house (I feel for you Mary with everything you are having done) I left a phone message for my 93 year old friend to ask if she would like to go out for coffee. She replied later to say she had just got back from London where she and her daughter had been to Buckingham Palace. I replied she might be too tired to see me today she said she would be fine but couldn’t make this morning as she had her Ukulele group coming round but she was happy to go out this afternoon ! Where does she get her energy ?

Morning Mick, Annie to come, and all here already. Overcast here in Berks, and yes, we had our heating on yesterday. I had planned to get DH to join me in a bit of garden clearing, but might not be successful in that. Otherwise, no real plans.

Morning everyone. Lots of things I could do today;housework etc and I could clear the shed out. Yes, I'll do that before it gets too cold and wintry.

Sister and BIL are having a golden wedding celebration afternoon tea party today, we will attend and then bring GD home with us for last childcare of the summer.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It is wet in South Yorkshire this morning. I don’t think we are going far today; maybe a walk if it dries up later. DH has a nasty cut on his finger which he got yesterday trying to stop GS picking an extremely sharp carving knife out of the washing up bowl while he was enthusiastically helping. It bled a lot last night but fingers crossed seems to have slowed down this morning. Have a good day folks.

Dull here but at least it is not raining.
Off to another National Trust property today and if the weather behaves we will take a short canal trip.

A lovely bright morning here on the NE coast after a day of heavy rain yesterday. We are taking the 3 older grandchildren down the coast to Scarborough for a few days for lots of outdoor activities so hope weather stays at least fine.

Morning Mick. Morning All. Grey and windy start in our corner of Somerset. Blood seems contagious greyd. Some unidentified part of Mr C’s anatomy has left blood on the duvet cover so an unscheduled bed change on the horizon. Sounds as if Mr Greyd might need some medical attention if that finger doesn’t stop oozing. Other than laundry no idea what we’ll do today other than avoid the anticipated traffic jams on the local roads and motorway. Hope Monday is kind to everyone, stay safe.

Good morning all, very dull and chilly in Essex.

GC woke us up at 7am, missing Mummy, hopefully she will be able to come home this evening. Off to visit her this morning all,seems to have gone well and with strong pain relief she is doing ok.
