What clothing did you most harm?

There is a thread on Muslim women’s choice of dress.

Thatcher didn’t wear a man’s suit.

My three sisters have caused me the most harm, they don’t wear men’s suits.

Stressful for me are knickers , they are too big for my bum.

gillybob - was he wearing a suit though?
It was the suit wot done it.

The 10th hand dress I wore to get married the first time around . It was quite nice actually but it definitely did the most harm!

Oh - and the stilettos Blinko - last worn to same DC's wedding and changed to low-heeled sandals after the photos grin

The roll-on my DM insisted I needed to wear after the birth of DC1 - left grooves round my waist grin
And, not having learned my lesson, the ghastly miraculous 'waist to thigh slimmer' I wore to same DC's wedding 30 years later (I abandoned it after the photos).

I can't think what else

Me, too, Kittye. Oh well, never mind.?

Kittye Thu 09-Aug-18 09:55:10

Yes I must say say I thought it was going to be light hearted!?

Eglantine21 Thu 09-Aug-18 09:49:14

Oh, is it a political discussion?

I was having another I was having a nice time for a minute.

?????

A reference to this I think.

annodomini Thu 09-Aug-18 09:40:21

I also thought of the terrible roll-on I wore to DS's wedding. Never again!

Can shoes be included, I fell off my platformed clogs back in the '70s and did my ankle a mischief angry

Well we are getting a lot of news about Muslim women who wear a full veil as though they were somehow a threat to society...

Kittye Thu 09-Aug-18 09:25:54

Wedding dress ??

Eglantine21 Thu 09-Aug-18 09:20:43

Looking back, those hot pants caused a bit of trouble.........

oldbatty Thu 09-Aug-18 09:18:27

I had a scratchy vest once.

Blinko Thu 09-Aug-18 09:13:28

I thought it going to be about wearing stilettos…. or tight roll ons.

Auntieflo Thu 09-Aug-18 09:11:02

Merlotgran grin

I thought this was going to be a thread about losing your knicker elastic.

harrigran Thu 09-Aug-18 09:08:40

?

ContraryMary88 Thu 09-Aug-18 09:07:57

I’d prefer to think of the clothing that the Bank Manager was wearing when he gave me the loan, the teacher who helped me through the exams, the guy who handed me my purse when I dropped it. The driver of the car who waved me through a gap in the traffic. I doubt that murderers wear suits, if that’s the point you are trying to make.
Need I go on?

Auntieflo Thu 09-Aug-18 09:07:45

What a peculiar post
I read the heading two ways.
First:- how did I REALLY hurt some of my clothes
Second:- How did some of my clothes hurt ME

ContraryMary88 Thu 09-Aug-18 09:03:40

I know it’s still early in the morning, but ... really??

Bathsheba Thu 09-Aug-18 08:55:13

confused

PECS Thu 09-Aug-18 08:49:35

If you think what clothes, people who have caused you harm, were wearing what would it be?
The banker who refused a loan, who missold mortgages, stockbrokers who caused the crash, an unsympathetic teacher, a mean boss, the guy who robbed you, the driver of a car that caused a crash? Politicians who made policies that changed society? I think we should have data on this to see which type of clothing the people who cause most damage wear.
