We were burgled some time ago and, among many other things, the jewellery I inherited was stolen. I used some of the money from the insurance payout to have a ring made for my middle finger in memory of Mum and Dad. While deeply distressed at the time, I could never have worn Mum's rings so think that 'upcycling' inherited jewellery, if you can afford it, is a good idea.
