Meeting a friend later for lunch, then back home to the ironing.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Was woken by an almighty storm this morning which has blown over leaving a clear blue sky.
We have no firm plans all week and will get jobs done today as temperatures are due to climb here again and I will be next to useless again.

Good Morning all, late today! Must have been my 3 mile walk I did yesterday. Bright and sunny here dry in NE Fife today. We have funeral today of neighbour who died last week. Not a good day . Have a good day everyone.

Morning. Sun is shining at the moment. Very cool breeze coming in the open windows, lovely. Waiting for new sofas this morning, and if they come early, I will be able to go to my volunteering this afternoon. Fingers crossed. Have a lovely day all.

Good morning, cloudy and cool at present but will improve.
Weather confined GD to house yesterday so she built a den in the music room, trouble is I can't get down on the floor to gather up all the objects that are secreted in it.
Specialist nurse visiting this morning, last time, I will have to travel to hospital if I want to see her after this.

Nana3 I am staying near Tenby and there is blue sky at the moment. It rained heavily yesterday morning,but Sun was out in the afternoon. Had a long time on the beach.

Back home tomorrow, so making the most of today. It Is lovely to spend time with CD and DGD's.

Good morning Mick and everyone. We had heavy rain here on the NE coast last night but the sun is just poking its head through the clouds so looks like it’s going to be a nice day. DiL is on summer shut down this week so no children which feels so strange.

Not the best news Nana3.......although a pleasant dry day yesterday in Pembrokeshire,a hefty shower overnight and again this morning so indeed Tenby is not at its best this week......but I am sure you will have a warm welcome!!

Another one of "those" days..........viewers and of course rain is the last thing we need!

It was a wonderful morning here in Norfolk when I got up an hour ago - then this big very black cloud appeared from the west. Big drops are now falling - perhaps we may get a quick soak.

The forecast says it should move away and leave a nice day before the heat comes back tomorrow. Hope so, we’re off for a day on the boat - he’s got the fishing bug back - I read or paint. It needs good weather the boats wipers aren’t good.

I'm off to the hairdresser's, where I am bound to meet someone I know, ( will catch up on local gossip ?️), then out to lunch with my girlfriends. It's ages since the five of us have managed to co-ordinate our diaries.
I hope the rain stays off as we are walking.

It's tipping down in north Leicestershire which is always a bad thing when we have two of the grandchildren - no playing in the garden, no going to the park. I feel a trip to the pet shop for more kitten supplies coming on!
