Mis-reading thread titles

I've just done it again, and this time with a thread title that I have read correctly dozens of times before.
This time, I 'saw': Labour Party ad-nauseum! It won't take you long to work out what it actually said!

Or putting an unrecognised item in the bagging area.

Elegran I sometimes get near to tears with the new Sainsbury's self checkouts that constantly accuse me of not putting my item in the bag.

If there is, I wish someone would tell me about it - I have just looked at the Active threads page again, and I am still seeing a thread about 'ponies'!

I have a ststem. I skim through and open what interests me and maybe comment Then next day I just look at those I'm on and those I've got notifications for. Sometimes I look atvthose that havent been replied to.

I am not bad (mostly) with thread tites, but whenever I pay at the self-service aisle in Sainsbury's and see "If you have a Nectar card, please insert it now," I always think of the quote "If you have tears, prepare to shed them now". I haven't yet burst into tears, though.

I don’t do that but I do forget what the title is referring to so it may be something I m not interest in or have no knowledge of but I still click into it dah to me

I do the same MamaC, but what worries me is the fact that, even when I've realised that I've misread it, I still misread it every time I log on again and go down the thread list!
