Will watch some of the Pru race today before switching to TdF finale .
If Yiayia forecast is wet should be an interesting Pru race , Mark Cavendish is due to ride it , after not finishing a stage of TDF.

Morning all, very windy and wet here.
Today is the prudential London bike ride all the roads in the area are closed for most of the day, they cycle up to the Surrey hills then back to London, this happens every year so have to remember to plan ahead.Catch up T.V I think.
Have a good Sunday everyone.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. It is blowing like the devil and raining in South Yorkshire and I was, dare I say it, COLD ? when I woke up this morning! We will not be going very far today, and I am planning to bake a couple of cakes to take away with us on Tuesday - if they last that long! Have a good day, folks.

Rain wonderful rain all day, hurray.

So Mick I see the Tour de France is nearing a conclusion I hope you are pleased that our man, is his name Geraint, is likely to win ?

Going to clear out my bulging wardrobe, unless so better offer comes up.

Yes MawBroon nights are certainly drawing in. Had to put our light on last night.

Morning everyone!

Wet [hurrah!] and windy here on the south coast and blissfully cool. I have decided that I am definitely not cut out for the tropics.

Worrying news this morning about the earthquake on the adjacent island to Bali in Indonesia, where DD and family are on holiday. Wish they had gone to Cornwall instead.

Have a good day folks.

Morning everyone, cooler here today in NE Fife but sun is trying to poke its little head out. Gardens got good watering last night with very heavy downpours but that's good. Hanging baskets took a battering but have survived. Not sure what we have on today we shall wait and see what weather is like. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning all.
Cool and grey here in N Bucks too and some light rain, so I think an indoor Sunday is on the cards.
I would like to see some life return to the garden so rather hoping the rain continues!
BTW has anybody else noticed how the nights are (just) beginning to draw in?
Wishing you all a pleasant day.

Morning Dumpling, too wet to garden here today, might be a good afternoon for a murder mystery on the telly and tea and cake...

Morning Mary

Morning Mick, morning All

It’s raining in Norfolk! A nice steady persistent rain. Just when I’d got used to permanent sunshine!! Hopefully it’ll stop as forecast as I’d planned a bit of gardening for today. The wisteria has gone rampant.

Good morning Mick

Chilly and very wet here, just sorting shed out today before the mice move in for the Autumn, the plan was to get everything out onto the lawn and have a clearout, but it’s a bit wet for that. What on Earth do we do with old pots of paint nowadays? Can’t take it to the tip any more.

At least the cooler weather has seen the end of the constant fly problem in the house.
I just hope that this isn’t the end of our Summer!
Have a good day everyone.
