Good morning all, the welcome change in temperature has arrived in Lancashire too. The clouds prevented us from seeing the red moon and dgs was disappointed.

Grey cloudy skies but little rain, cooler though, so relieved.

Quietist day, I hope.

I was awakened at 5am by a terrific wind and rain storm which had blown the bedroom window wide open and was raining in through the blind and curtains. We do need the rain so I am pleased to see it. Maybe not quite so vigorously though!

Easy day planned here - we'll see what turns up.
