What made YOU smile today ?

farview it was Gusto's in Cheadle Hulme and it was really good.
I am very very thankful that at the age of 81 I still enjoy a good night out and a cocktail (or two) .
Being young at heart is a huge asset.

I met some lovely people this afternoon and I smiled a lot but then we had WhatsApp recordings of 2 dgds saying thank you for the money we sent them fiwr getting good reports and trying hard and I smiled lots more!

Not had a good day today, won’t spoil the thread with tell you all, but many many thanks for reminding me good things do happen.

ann that is just perfect- she is a lovely girl, very caring.

My GD (19) took me out for a meal to celebrate my birthday which was last week but I couldn't go out because my H has dementia and didn't even know it was my birthday.
He is in respite now for 10 days and we had a lovely meal out at an Italian restaurant and had cocktails.
She is staying the night and we will have tea in bed in the morning and my world will be fine.

My elder granddaughter who recently moved to the West Country face timed as soon as she came from her first interview.

DGD (18) is living with me at the moment and we went shopping this afternoon.
She cooked a super dinner of roast chicken, carrots, long-stem broccoli and baby new potatoes.
All I had to do was pour 2 glasses of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc. You can see why I was smiling!

By chance both of my daughters came here after work and we had a cup of tea and a hilarious conversation about a future event. My youngest daughter is so funny when on form and she was definitely on form today!

Oh gosh, I remember those days.

My GD calling in today when she finished school for the holidays she danced round the room singing no more school the holidays are here. ?
