Evening all, and please bear with me, it might just be the heat!

Watching "Live At The Apollo" , why do I want to say with regard to Noel Fielding "Have that boy washed and brought to my tent!"

Actually, I would be quite happy if he was to pop round for a coffee and a muffin!

KatyK Fri 13-Jul-18 11:31:33

Oo yes David Tennant. I have a nephew who looks just like him.

Most women of a certain age have a bit of a thing for Noel Fielding. Think it's a combination of lust and mothering instinct!

Minerva Fri 13-Jul-18 11:44:44

Isn’t it strange how different people’s tastes for men are, but it would be odder if we all fancied the same type. I still lust after George Clooney but I haven’t aged as well as he has and he looks well and truly spoken for now.
I had a great number of boyfriends in the 60s but none of them looking as if they needed a wash and a haircut.

lesley4357 Fri 13-Jul-18 11:46:18

No mothering instinct with David Tennant - pure lust!!!

anniesgrannie Fri 13-Jul-18 11:51:07

Who's Noel Fielding?

Legs55 Fri 13-Jul-18 12:06:01

David Tennant definitely, my all time favourite is Clint Eastwood ever since I saw him in Rawhide, as my friend & I say "I wouldn't kick him out of bed"grin

MissAdventure Fri 13-Jul-18 12:06:05

This is him..

quizqueen Fri 13-Jul-18 12:36:40

Look at what you are all writing here. If this was dads/grandadsnet and the men were talking about passing young attractive girls/women around you would all be disgusted, Double standards gransnetters!!! Double standards. It's not good.

lindiann Fri 13-Jul-18 13:00:58

Thank you MissAdventure. Definitely a NO. Clint Eastwood for me.

Purplepoppies Fri 13-Jul-18 15:08:10

I have an ex with the Noel Fielding/Russell Brand look. What a shame he was an arse ?.

Definitely Tom Hardy or Idris Elba for me ???

Juliet27 Fri 13-Jul-18 15:21:38

I remember my old dad often saying ‘cor, if only I was 50 years younger’. I wish he knew I often find myself thinking the same lately!

Juliet27 Fri 13-Jul-18 15:29:24

I used to have a thing about Valentino Rossi in his much younger motor bike racing days when his hair was long and he looked wild, but maybe that’s because as a child I wanted to grow up to be an Indian squaw or a Romany gypsy....he looked the part.

MagicWriter2016 Fri 13-Jul-18 15:50:54

Oh no, Katyk, I always think Russell Brand needs a good bath and his hair washed lol!

JustALaugh Fri 13-Jul-18 16:47:43

I think you must be having a funny turn... I cannot stand the bloke. His appearance is odd, and I find him very unfunny (but if you like him, that's alright!)

JustALaugh Fri 13-Jul-18 16:48:18

Purplepoppies.... now you're talking! Real men!

lemongrove Fri 13-Jul-18 17:06:12

Oh you little Minx

Deedaa Fri 13-Jul-18 21:23:00

I've currently got a thing about Andrew Scott. Blew me away when he burst upon us as Moriarty - but sadly he's gay! I always seem to pick the gay ones (as if I'd have any chance if they weren't grin )

phoenix Fri 13-Jul-18 21:34:07

In my teens my first really serious boyfriend looked very much like Clint Eastwood? I actually still have photos of him blush
