Is Harry happy?

There's been so much criticism of what Meghan has been wearing and how much it has cost. When Diana was around she was always called a style icon and nobody cared what she had paid for her clothes.

Of course the Royal Family is a medieval concept most of us agree. They have no power though so that is unlike the Royals of yesteryear.

But they are a useful asset and a great tourist attraction and a boost to the economy. They employ loads of people and occasionally had events, like Royal Weddings to furriners or produce Royal babies which are a step up from worshiping at the alter of Sleb Culture.

On balance I’d rathef have them than not. Would I travel to London to wave a flag for them. Certainly not! But to co-sign them to history is a bit too much like those dreadful boors in ISIS who set about destroying ancient monuments in the Middle East.

Noticed Kate and Meghan at Wimbledon yesterday just 2 girls enjoying a day out dressed for the heat, definitely no sign of tension or a bump. Stunning Tennis too.

I should think so, with a wife like Meghan.

if he's not happy with his overprivileged life he can always walk away from it,I dont suppose for a minute that there would be people on the streets begging him to stay .Certainly no one I know ..thats folk who REALLY work for a living and have bills to pay on ever decreasing incomes and who haven't had even one holiday in over 10 years ...or more .Unlike your precious Harry who seems always to be off on some jaunt at the tax payers expense.I just wish there weren't so many knee benders on here .Surely we're all old ..and wise enough to realise kings and queens and princes and knights etc ...only belong in fairy tales .They are a medieval concept unsuitable for a modern world .

It amuses me the way Gransnetters seem to have a hotline to the private lives of the Royals!

I also had a feeling that Harry didn't look as relaxed as we've seen him. Possibly anxious on behalf of Meghan if she's confided that getting to grips with life in the Firm is challenging. I guess anyone would find it hard to be away from close friends/confidantes despite marrying your prince. As much as the press would have us believe that Kate is a help, I have my doubts. Heavens she's a busy mother of three! I'd rather the RF than a republic but their life is up for public scrutiny (as are many 'famous' celebrities) and they have to build a bridge and get over it.

I doubt Megan is troubled by criticism, she is a woman with much self confidence , she showed this when she walked alone through the Chapel on her wedding day. I don’t think it was a display of feminism.

I doubt many of us would look happy when the press is so busy speculating about when Meghan will produce a baby bump! And (if she reads the newspapers) being told constantly how 'old' she is, how she is making mistakes when on display as a royal, constant comparisons with Kate, not to mention her own family making quite odd comments about her as well - bet that wasn't what she thought would happen when she married Harry!

It was a pudding - and I have made it since and he enjoys it. Either it was something he had never had before (probably) or I make it better now.

Ha that brings back memories Jalima, I have been known to throw a meal or two in the bin ,but I think DH was glad I did !?. I’m sure if it had been Harry he would have been most polite ?

I was remembering our first 'tiff' Bridgeit, which was over something I had cooked which he very politely said he'd rather not have again. I stomped off and left him for a whole two hours.
