All on 4 dental implants

I can't comment on the gum colour as mine go right up to my natural gum line. I do have one at the bottom which has a gap at the back of it which was due to not having a tooth there - the dentist 'grew' some bone to sit it in an empty socket. They are smooth behind which is lovely. I use a water flosser every day to clear out any debris in the gap. If you're not happy I would tell the dentist - after all they cost a fortune so you should be satisfied with the result.

Until i was cancelled today I had an appointment to see a dentist next week about having either implants or replacement crowns.
I was unaware that gum colour would be an issue. One more question to ask about.
I ‘need’ 4 doing would you mind telling me what you paid.

Willow500 did you have them done in the UK. I mentioned the gap and the feeling of them in my mouth. I haven’t mentioned the color yet. Just got a bit of niggiling in the back of my mind that they aren’t the best. Dentist said the gap was so I could clean the area properly.

Gulp!!! that is an awful lot of money to spend and feel dissatisfied.I really hope your dentist can sort out the issues you are having. Were do people stand in terms of refunds if they are unhappy with a product or the service of this nature, you can hardly ask for an exchange. I am afraid this kind of issue is one of the reasons i didnt pay out for implants and have settled for a partial denture.

I think I’ll be keeping my old crowns?. I’ll just stop smiling.

Sorry just got back to this. I'm in the UK yes and paid £6000 but that included the 4 implants, 2 bridges and I think 2 individual teeth. I had a lot of problems with abscesses which was cleared up. The whole process took 9 months. It was the best £6k I've ever spent after years of problems and wouldn't hesitate to do it again - I have a very big filling at the other side which my dentist is wary about so when it finally goes I'll hopefully elect to have that side done too if I can afford it!
