I keep saying I'm not hungry and then eating picky bits out of the fridge.

Just cheese toasties tonight with a few sliced tomatoes and a cold beer.
Will do cold salmon tomorrow with a few prawns, with salad and 2minute mushroom rice.

I don't know but I honestly don't feel hungry, the heat is making me feel sick so all I'm eating is ice lollies, yoghurt and fruit but that's about it. I did have a turkey salad yesterday but that's the only meal I've eaten in weeks. I need to eat more meals even if they are just salads but I have a couple of stone to lose so I'm not complaining.

FlexibleFriend how?

I am 'up and down like a yo-yo' [sigh]

Jalima1108 Fri 06-Jul-18 18:51:49

Trout with steamed vegetables.

I longed for some veg after days of salad .....

Oh - wasn't that a musical? Salad Days?

merlotgran Fri 06-Jul-18 18:07:14

We're having turkey steak with stir fry veg tonight. Quick, easy and low cal.

Fennel Fri 06-Jul-18 17:47:36

I'm still eating ice lollies, yogurt and fruit but on the bright side I've lost a stone in weight in 3 weeks. I'm a happy bunny just never feel hungry so making the most of it.

Tonight it was a Waitrose recipe, Spaghetti with sardines, pinenuts and sultanas, with a side salad. Strawberries and ice cream to finish. Very quick to cook and tasty.

NotAGran55 Tue 03-Jul-18 18:27:56

shysal Tue 03-Jul-18 17:48:19

Butternut squash, bacon and feta frittata. Cold with salad.
I have cooked an unthickened beef casserole but can't face eating it ,so it will have to go into the freezer.

lemongrove Tue 03-Jul-18 16:15:08

Cheese salad and new potatoes today followed by fresh raspberries and vanilla yoghurt.Cool, and easy.

Greyduster Tue 03-Jul-18 15:44:22

A two egg omelette with a ounce of cheese in it, and a handful of watercress. This is the first day of me going back on my 5:2 diet. Desperate measures are needed, and the hot weather will help, I hope.

Jalima1108 Tue 03-Jul-18 11:19:42

I may cook tonight.
Probably a stir-fry grin done in a few minutes

Iam64 Tue 03-Jul-18 08:13:28

More salads, which I love but otherwise - everything is as normal here. Lots of food.

DammitJanet Tue 03-Jul-18 07:57:55

Feta, tomato and cucmber dressed with oregano and black pepper and homemade cheesey breads.

A LOT of home made ice cream.

Pimms with all the trimmings.

Googoogoo1 Tue 03-Jul-18 07:44:26

Cooker which is always on has been made redundant this past few weeks smile. Lovely coleslaws with lots chucked in or salad and new potatoes (delicious). Lots of chopping equipment to wash but hardly any pots. Oh and we had a home made Knickerbocker Glory last night, delicious.

Jalima1108 Sun 01-Jul-18 22:59:26

We had a few new potatoes with it instead (unpeeled grin)

Bluegal Sun 01-Jul-18 17:31:10

Jalima1108 grin

Jalima1108 Sun 01-Jul-18 17:29:20

Bluegal I'm always hungry - but not enough to cook a Sunday roast!

I didn't even make the quiche, it's M&S
I may summon up enough energy to peel a sweet potato or two.

Greyduster Sun 01-Jul-18 17:27:35

It’s a slippery slope, Jalima! ?. Tonight we are having the chilli I made yesterday. I am looking forward to it - DH has declared that he is not hungry ?‍♀️. Am I bovvered??

Bluegal Sun 01-Jul-18 17:27:20

Sadly - or unfortunately, I don't find my appetite changes much in any weather smile

The only difference is I don't actually feel like cooking! So (as someone else said) Whatever anyone wants to cook for me is fine, if not probably picnic type stuff here too.

Jalima1108 Sun 01-Jul-18 17:21:13

Quiche tonight - the first time ever that we are having quiche for Sunday dinner shock
Perhaps with salad and chips/sweet potato fries
