Good Morning Michael and all. There are some funny fluffy things up in the sky. I haven't seen them for weeks . A little less heat please.

As you say, a bit grey and muggy but it will clear I am sure of that. DD, SIL and littlest fella , plus dog arriving lunchtime as the grown ups are off to a 40th this evening so Granny will be in charge. Just hope the dogs are fine as their dog although one of the sweetest can be very protective of “his” little boy, and Hattie, also one of the best natured dogs, is also very friendly and loves children, so I may have to keep them apart when littlest fella is about.

Well it is the last full day of our holiday break so we must make the most of it. We will be visiting the Antuque shops we missed on our first day, going to the local Art and craft show which is part of their festival and then tonight going to see some of the original Kinks band, so we will try and be Dedicated Followers of Fashion ?

Into London today for the MN/GN McDonald's launch. The ad for the chicken wrap keeps popping up at the top of this page. I was part of the test group and the wrap is very nice if you add extra salad and take out the ketchup.
Taking the family so we will mooch around the City until we get too hot.

Unsurprisingly, North Leicestershire is hot and sunny. We have Bertie and Persie overnight. Dh is taking Bertie to the Space Centre while Persie wants to go to the garden centre - who am I to argue?

Good morning Mick and all. Once again a beautiful day in Glasgow.
As much as I am able, helping DH to clean up the mess he has left in the garden after trimming overhanging branches from the overgrown lane behind our house. He got a little carried away yesterday.
The owner of the building company arrived yesterday to say that, due to the dry weather, they are way ahead of schedule and will be staring to build our new accessible shower room on Wednesday, a month before it was scheduled.
That means we will need to move the rotary dryer, all our pots, herb garden etc by Wednesday.
Not a relaxing Saturday, methinks., but it will be worth it in the end, no more being stuck in the bath.

Whilst I am not sure the county can take many more holiday makers........they are pouring in and heading straight for the beaches,and in this heat undoubtedly the only sensible place to be!!!

Still frasying at the edges but must show willing for our viewers from Worcestor...........yesterday our viewing of a Sheltered Housing flat turned out a bit of a disaster.........it was actually very presentable BUT a 1 bedder........we certainly will find 2 beds a squeeze..........certainly no 1 bed thank you!

I was up late this morning after being awake in the night for 2 hours, suffering with a sick headache. Had some paracetemol and dropped off eventually, hence late arising!

It's very hot already here on the south coast and set to be more so. I intend to stay indoors and try to be cool, calm and collected today.

The sun is up now and I ‘m looking forward to another lovely day. Jobs and some food prep. for tomorrow this morning. Relaxing on the garden later with a m’mock’ pimms.

It’s quite hot here in Norfolk! No sea mist or cloud this morning and we’ve started with wall to wall sunshine and a brisk breeze.

Off to see the physio in a little while for my second and last appointment. I rather overdid things yesterday and the knee is a trifle swollen so I’m expecting a telling off. Ho hum!
Then to the sailing club to meet up with DS and family for a sail. Well, I shan’t be sailing, I shall be sitting in the shade looking out at a perfect view and chatting.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs. Another scorcher this morning in South Yorkshire. Laundry and gardening today and not a lot else really. We ought to get out for a walk but it is just too hot. My DD is running in a ten mile race this morning - mad, these ‘youngsters’. Have a good day, folks.

Morning all , lovely fresh breeze here this morning . Got the tomatoes watered and tied up earlier , they have taken off and nearly at the top of the canes . I am going to take the tops off half to see if we get ripe fruits earlier

Good Evening! We've had another foul morning to wake up to! I was able to sit indoors, with the central heating on, and watch through my recently cleaned windows at the back, steady, cold, rain., falling from a leaden grey sky. 8C
Reminds me of "summer" holidays in Wales, many, many years ago. Does it still rain there?

I woke up rather early, to my cat wanting a cuddle (bless him) and then my 7yr old granddaughter singing at me (6.30am).

I've got 3 loads of washing on the line - it's very warm and sunny in Nottingham.
