1. Bought some sandals online and feet are more comfortable in them than I can ever remember.
2. Almost finished knitting an enormous ‘rainbow blanket’ which DD admired on Pinterest. She’ll be so pleased when she sees it!
3. Family have been visiting Cornwall Granny this weekend, so I’ve had a blissfully quiet two days. I’ve missed the DGC of course, but the rest has been lovely, and they’re all coming for tea tomorrow, which will be so nice.
I like this thread - we should be like Pollyanna and play the ‘Glad game’ more often. smile

Son rang us last night to ask how our holiday in a remote part of Cyprus is going.

I awoke early this morning with a high fever and got under a big blanket for two hours. My body can't take air con or cool wind as I was brought up in Trinidad and Kuwait due to dad's engineering work.

Went to a remote restaurant in the shady mountains and now feeling warmer and looking forward to a BBQ day around the pool tomorrow instead of driving miles to a supermarket or restaurant.

DD is pregnant for the first time! Early days but fingers crossed a wee one in January.
Out of Hours doctor rang me back within 10 mins and sent through a prescription to my local pharmacy, thus getting my UTI quickly under control.
Helped same DD clear out her wardrobe (I love a clear out!) And acquired gorgeous blouse, a jacket, a gilet and a Christmas jumper!
