Beautiful weather again.
Food shopping cost half what it normally does because I've got enough in the cupboards already.
Started looking at a holiday in September.

1.Cut own hair and it looks better than when the hairdresser does it!
2. DH cooked a wonderful meal for us today.
3.Next doors fat ginger cat went to sleep in our catmint, it flattened it all but it looked so cute blissfully sleeping with one paw on it’s head and appeared to be smiling, that we left it alone.?

The sun shone.

Not realising how hot it was we set out on an overambitious long walk. Then, just as we were both flagging, bemoaning the fact there was nowhere to sit down and we were a long way from home, some friends of ours appeared in their car and we got a lift back home.

I have just been out for a row in our tiny boat.- just lovely as it's not so hot now.

Today:
1. I've spent hours sorting the cellar, and can now see the floor. That may not sound a good use of a sunny day, but it's looong overdue!
2. The mouse's nest I found in an old chest of drawers in the corner of said cellar turned out to be uninhabited, phew! Especially as DH tackled it by prodding it with a stick and shining a torch in before carrying it outside.
3. I got the bedlinen and the towels dried in the sun and they smell divine.

Panache Sun 03-Jun-18 17:38:35

The weather is absolutely G.....L....O....R.....I.....O.....U.....S.......and it temptrd us both to mingle with the boating crowds at our nearby Marina.

The brreze from the sea kept the temperature exactly just right.

We sat at leisure licking our favourite and quite delightful
Italian ice cream (Since I am religiously sticking to a low fat diet for health reasons this was a REAL treat)

Whilst I was able to follow the pleasurable art of people watching.

Ain`t life good...........and a lot better than this time last week when I knew I was heading for an Operation!!!

oldbatty Sun 03-Jun-18 17:35:42
